On the evening of October 31, an 80-year-old man was standing next to his car on the shoulder of a road in Missoula. He got the driver to pull over without incident, and when the man got out of the car, it was reported that the front of his pants were wet, causing the deputy to believe he had urinated on himself.

According to reports, the man displayed multiple indicators of being intoxicated, and he was asked to take roadside sobriety tests. The deputy noted that he did not pass, even though he only took one of the three tests. When his blood-alcohol concentration was checked with a breathalyzer, it gave a result of .102. When asked if he had anything to drink, the man reportedly said it had been hours since he had. In addition to allegedly driving while intoxicated, the man also reportedly had a revoked driver’s license and eight prior DUI convictions.
