A Florida man without permanent housing is facing felony charges after allegedly threatening to kill people from several law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, in social media posts.
According to reports, on February 21, the Biloxi Police Department in Mississippi encountered online content that caused them concern. They reportedly spotted posts containing threats towards several different law enforcement agencies. The threatening messages were allegedly aimed at officers from Jupiter, Boca Raton, and Manatee County, in addition to employees of the FBI.
An agent from the Biloxi Police Department contacted the Jupiter Police Department to report the situation. They provided them with information from the posts, letting them know that the party responsible insisted the agencies post all the information they had about him. A picture of the police department was also uploaded. The perpetrator reportedly threatened those who did not comply and said they should “kiss [your] loved ones goodbye and tell them I am going to torture you to death.” The authorities did not know what information the suspect referred to in his posts.
