A federal agent is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly sexually assaulting women under the guise that he was going to find them modeling work and give them free tattoos.
At the end of October, the authorities opened an investigation after receiving reports about women who were allegedly raped by a man named Lalo Brown when they went to a Gaithersburg shop called DC Fine Line Tattoos. During their initial investigation, the police reportedly learned that the suspect reached out to at least two women on Instagram and said he could get them modeling jobs through an agency called Exeter Models. One of the women was reportedly offered a free tattoo if she agreed to model it. She was given the tattoo in August, and she signed a contract for the modeling gig. The woman went back to the tattoo shop for what she believed was a test photo shoot. While there, the man allegedly raped her and then told her he would take legal action if she did not complete the work she agreed to when she signed the contract. She was reportedly told to meet the suspect at a hotel a couple of weeks later for the photo shoot, and when she arrived, she was allegedly sexually assaulted a second time. The second alleged victim reported that she went through a similar situation with the man.
The authorities found out the person who owned the tattoo shop was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. When the women saw the suspect, they both said he was the person who raped them.
