Deputies in El Paso County, Texas, arrested a man accused of attacking his former girlfriend twice in the same morning, according to law enforcement officials.

Early in the morning on October 3, a woman and her ex-boyfriend were reportedly involved in a situation that resulted in her being hospitalized for several injuries, and the man being arrested on felony charges. Deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office were notified by the woman, who called to report that her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her. By the time deputies arrived, the suspect had already left the scene. Since things appeared to be calm, they left the premises.

According to reports, a few hours later, deputies were called back to the same location after the woman reported that the man had returned once more and assaulted her again.
