A Southern California couple was arrested when they reportedly locked their three children in a room in their apartment, and the dwelling caught on fire while they were out for a walk. 

Around 2:00 AM on November 3, the authorities received a report informing them that an apartment in a multi-unit complex in Burbank was on fire. 

When officers from the Burbank Police Department arrived, they were informed that the neighbors believed there were young children alone and trapped in the burning apartment.

A Texas preschool teacher is facing charges and lost her job after four 1-year-olds became ill after allegedly consuming marijuana edibles on Halloween. 

On Halloween, children enrolled at the Primrose School of Prosper were left in the care of their usual 35-year-old preschool teacher. 

During the afternoon, four of the 1-year-old children in the woman’s class started to feel sick, and employees at the school called 911 to report the situation.

A New Mexico man was accused of violently attacking and raping his girlfriend before dumping gasoline and bleach all over the room where the incident took place. 

At approximately 2:00 am on September 15, a woman, her boyfriend, and an infant whose relationship to the pair has not been disclosed were in a Northeast Albuquerque apartment together. 

According to reports, the 33-year-old man and his girlfriend began to have sex, but the woman decided she wanted to stop.

An allegedly drunk driver was taken into custody on suspicion of several charges after he reportedly crashed his vehicle and endangered his children during a custody exchange. 

On October 9, just after 10:00 AM, a 32-year-old man from Oroville, California, was taking his children to a residence in Paradise to drop them off with their other parent. 

While the father was driving with the kids, his car reportedly struck an unattended parked vehicle.

A North Carolina woman was arrested and charged after she allegedly abused her 5-year-old stepson and left the child with third-degree burns, in addition to reportedly trying to castrate him.

On July 29, a 33-year-old stepmother brought her adopted 5-year-old stepson to the emergency room at the Wilson Medical Center because he had sustained severe burns.

The burns were diagnosed as third-degree, and it was suspected that they were caused by abuse. The child also had bruises and injuries on his head, face, arms, legs, back, and genitals.

A high school social studies teacher in New Jersey is facing sex charges after he reportedly rented a hotel room to have intimate relations with an underage former student.

According to reports, a man from Absecon, New Jersey, who has been a public employee for approximately thirteen years is employed as a social studies teacher at Atlantic City High School.

It was reported that the instructor had been spending time with a 17-year-old student both outside of school and inside the classroom.

A mother is facing charges after being accused of creating pornographic content with her two youngsters and the family dog and uploading the files to Snapchat.  

In August, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children opened an investigation after an anonymous tip was given about a Snapchat account that allegedly contained video footage of a male toddler having sex with an adult woman. 

The suspect was identified as the 26-year-old mother of an infant and a 3-year-old boy.

An allegedly inebriated driver and her drunk passenger were accused of endangering eight youngsters who were riding in the vehicle with them. 

It was reported that on the evening of September 8, a 27-year-old woman was driving in the parking lot of a Hobby Lobby store in Oklahoma City. A 30-year-old man was sitting in the passenger seat, and eight children, ages 4 – 13, were also in the truck. Some of the kids were sitting in the truck bed. 

Another driver in the lot notified the police that their car had been hit, and when officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department arrived, they noted that no one was harmed.

When a 12-year-old girl’s mom found sexual content on her cell phone, the woman allegedly subjected her child to several torturous punishments. 

33-year-old Priscilla Jocelyn Florentino lives in Palm Coast, Florida. It is reported that she has a 12-year-old daughter. 

On August 11, Florentino went to her job at the Microtel Inn and Suites with her daughter’s cell phone.

A toddler who tested positive for cocaine was reportedly horribly burned by his babysitter, who allegedly denied him medical care for days after the incident occurred.  

38-year-old Natoyia Danelle Barbee lives in Durham, North Carolina. 

At the beginning of July, Barbee had a 2-year-old boy and his two siblings staying at her home. Their mother had gone out of town and left Barbee in charge of the youngsters.
