When a Delaware man was pulled over on suspicion of driving under the influence, he found himself jailed on many charges after the police searched his vehicle and allegedly found an illegal firearm.

In the early morning hours on December 9, a man from New Castle was driving in a local residential area. It was reported that around 1:00 AM, officers from the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department saw the vehicle, and they believed it was being driven erratically. They decided to perform a traffic stop to investigate further.

According to reports, when the driver pulled over and the officers began to talk to him, they believed he displayed several indications of being intoxicated. The man was identified, and it was decided that he was too altered to drive. He was told he was being arrested for operating his vehicle under the influence.

A woman in Central Florida who sings and plays guitar at local spots was accused of driving under the influence after she left a town square venue and was caught speeding and operating her vehicle erratically.

On the evening of November 30, a woman driving a Toyota 4-Runner allegedly sped out of Lake Sumpter Landing, the waterfront mall in The Villages.

A deputy from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office was nearby, and they reportedly noticed the vehicle was being driven faster than the posted speed limit. It was reported that they were going 54 miles per hour, which is 19 miles per hour over the 35 miles per hour limit.

Dean DeLeo, the former guitarist for Stone Temple Pilots, was recently arrested for allegedly driving under the influence as well as accused of domestic violence against his wife.

It was reported that last month 62-year-old Dean DeLeo, who used to be the guitarist for the alternative rock band Stone Temple Pilots, got into an altercation with his wife. The pair have reportedly had a tumultuous relationship at times, and they nearly parted ways in 2018.

DeLeo left the house and drove away, and his wife called the authorities to inform them that he had been drinking alcohol. Officers went on patrol to see if they could find his vehicle on the road, and when they located him, DeLeo was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.

Stand-up comedienne and actress Tiffany Haddish was arrested in Southern California for her second DUI after she was found unconscious in her car after a Thanksgiving charity dinner event.

On November 23, the Laugh Factory hosted its 43rd free annual Thanksgiving dinner event. According to a press release, “Laugh Factory welcomes those who are away from home, those who are underserved, or those who are simply in need of a warm meal and some good laughs.” This year, Tiffany Haddish, Tim Allen, and Alonzo Bodden were some of the stars who helped serve the guests and put on a comedy show for the diners.

The following morning, just before 6:00 AM, a citizen notified the authorities to report that someone was in their car with the engine running, and they appeared to be asleep.

A Tennessee vendor hired to drive children and families using a motorized lawn mower to pull the “Santa’s Train” carts during a local parade was accused of operating the machine under the influence of Methamphetamine with young passengers on board. 

On the evening of November 11, Tazewell, a quaint town in Tennessee, hosted their annual Christmas Tractor Parade. One of the features at the event was “Santa’s Train,” which allowed children and families to take a ride in red carts towed by a motorized lawn mower. The 40-year-old man charged with driving the “train” was appointed by the third-party vendor.

Before the parade began, the man was giving rides to passengers, and several people at the event became concerned when they thought he was driving unsafely. There were many officers on site, and when one of them became aware of the situation, they made the man stop the vehicle.

A man in the Florida Keys who allegedly claimed he was a mercenary reportedly threatened the safety and lives of deputies, their wives and children, and a K9 officer hundreds of times when he was arrested for driving under the influence.

Late in the afternoon on October 2, a man was driving a Kia SUV on Highway 1 in Monroe County. According to reports, deputies spotted the driver, who was allegedly going over the posted speed limit and was operating the vehicle in an unsafe manner.

The deputies performed a traffic stop, and when they reached the vehicle, they alleged that they could smell a strong odor of marijuana. They also reportedly spotted a can of Bud Light that appeared to be open.

A Pennsylvania woman is facing several charges after an alleged weekend drinking binge during which she reportedly struck her husband while he was holding their child, drove while intoxicated, and punched through a glass window in their home.

On October 25, a woman from Montoursville was allegedly intoxicated, and she punched a window in the home she shares with her husband and children. The 35-year-old’s hand was sliced from the glass shards, and her husband called the authorities.

Around 4:00 p.m., an officer went to the home for the first of four visits the police made to the home that day due to the woman’s alleged drunkenness and behavior.

A Utah man was arrested for several charges after a DUI stop reportedly revealed he provided a juvenile with liquor, and then allegedly attacked the teen.

Just before 7:30 a.m. on October 25, a man from Washington City was in St. George, and when he got into his vehicle a bystander believed he was intoxicated. The other person notified the authorities, and officers from the St. George Police Department went to the location to investigate.

When approaching the vehicle, it was reported that an open can of beer was on the street next to it. The police assumed that the can belonged to the driver of the car, who was reportedly climbing out of the passenger’s side when they got there.

A Kentucky woman facing several charges after she was allegedly caught driving under the influence for the fourth time threatened to put a curse on the police when she was taken into custody.

Early in the morning on October 20, a 41-year-old woman was driving her Kia in a residential neighborhood in Elizabethtown. Someone who reportedly saw the allegedly erratic operation of the vehicle became concerned and notified the authorities.

Officers with the Elizabethtown Police Department went to the location and saw the woman in her vehicle. The person who called spoke to the officers and told them she believed the driver was heavily intoxicated.

A Montana man reportedly driving with a missing license plate light was pulled over and accused of driving under the influence, and he allegedly became violent and headbutted a detention officer.

On October 7, a 23-year-old man was driving a Silverado in Missoula, and one of the license plate lights was reportedly missing. A deputy with the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office saw the vehicle and performed a traffic stop.

When the deputy began to talk to the driver, he reportedly smelled alcohol and believed the man might be intoxicated. The man reportedly told the deputy that he drank one beer. When asked for his license and registration, the driver reportedly said he only had a learner’s permit.
