A group of people in Portland are facing charges after the police learned they were allegedly operating a business called Shroom House where they sold magic mushrooms. 

According to reports, a store in Portland, Oregon called Shroom House opened its doors to the public on October 24. The shop reportedly sold magic mushrooms to the public. 

When the authorities learned about the establishment, they reportedly had two undercover agents visit and purchase just over an ounce of mushrooms. The fungi allegedly tested positive for psilocybin.

A middle school bus driver suspected of drinking and driving was taken into custody after he got into an accident while transporting children. 

On December 13, one of the bus drivers from Woodland Community School District 50 in Lake County, Illinois, was driving with seven school children in the vehicle.  

It was reported that when the driver turned a corner, he lost control of the bus and went over the curb. The bus also struck a brick mailbox.

Two arrests were made during a surreal incident in a hotel room allegedly involving a couple, a nude headstand, meth, PCP, the assault of an officer, and a Taser. 

On the evening of December 15, the authorities were notified by someone at La Quinta Inn in Lufkin. The caller believed that they heard screaming coming from one of the rooms. 

Officers with the Lufkin Police Department went to the location to investigate.

The Chief of Staff of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center was arrested after he allegedly sent his wife text messages while intoxicated and threatened to harm her and her family. 

According to reports, on December 11, the man who is Vanderbilt’s Regional Director of Emergency Medicine and the Chief of Staff for one of their hospitals attended the company Christmas party with his wife. 

It was reported that the man was intoxicated from drinking at the party.

A Florida couple was arrested when the authorities reportedly found illegally modified guns in their vehicle during a traffic stop. 

Last week, a man 27-year-old was driving a pickup truck in Kathleen, Florida. His 23-year-old girlfriend was in the passenger’s seat.  

According to reports, the vehicle lacked a license plate.

A California man on probation for a DUI was arrested after slamming his vehicle into a police patrol car with an officer inside while reportedly driving under the influence. 

Early in the morning on December 13, an officer with the Oceanside Police Department was on patrol and parked on a center island near a Route 79 offramp. 

According to reports, someone driving a Kia Optima was speeding when they exited the highway. The car went over the curb and onto the center island, and it barreled into the front of the officer’s vehicle in a head-on collision.

A Florida woman reportedly claiming to be an Egyptian deity is facing charges after causing a violent scene including striking bystanders and a police officer. 

On the afternoon of December 11, in Miami Beach, a woman reportedly drove to a spot directly in front of the Havana 1957 restaurant. She allegedly stopped in the middle of the road and got out of the car. 

According to someone who said they saw the incident, the woman began slamming her hands on the hoods of the cars nearby.

A former Florida news columnist and regular guest of Tucker Carlson was arrested for allegedly bilking her mother out of more than $200,000 after forcing her into an assisted living facility. 

51-year-old Catherine Areu Jones works under the name of Cathy Areu, and she used to be a columnist for the Washington Post. She hosted a podcast called Liberal Sherpa, and she used the name “Liberal Sherpa” on the occasions that she was a guest on Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox.  

Jones has an 88-year-old mother, and she used to have power of attorney, but it was reportedly revoked.

An Iowa man was arrested after allegedly placing several AirTags on a woman’s vehicle so he could track and stalk her. 

On December 5, a woman was driving her vehicle when the safety feature on an Apple AirTag sent a notification to let them know that their location was being tracked with the device. 

According to reports, the driver went directly to the police department in West Des Moines to tell them about the situation.

On August 13, a 32-year-old woman who previously lived with her father in The Villages returned to his residence after reportedly moving out six months prior. 

It was reported that the pair were not on good terms when she showed up, and the woman’s dad asked her to leave. She was allegedly unwilling to depart. 

The authorities were notified, and the woman reportedly tried to tell them that she was the owner of the dwelling, but she was unable to show them proof.
