An allegedly intoxicated jail deputy in Benton County was taken into custody after leaving a wedding reception in an unmarked county vehicle with weapons and ammunition inside.  

Late in the evening on October 30, a deputy who works at a jail in Benton County, Arkansas, was departing from a wedding that was held at the Crystal Rivers Museum. 

According to reports, the deputy was using an unmarked county car as transportation to and from the celebration, and he reportedly had three pistols, a loaded rifle magazine, several boxes of ammunition, and a gas mask in the vehicle.

A man who left his truck parked and unattended while he allegedly robbed a store returned to his vehicle to find that it was in the midst of being stolen.

Washington resident William Kelley left his Chevy pickup truck parked in a near-empty lot in Kennewick early in the morning on August 25, and he left the keys inside on the seat.

42-year-old Kelley walked out of the parking lot for a bit, and upon his return, he saw someone placing a bicycle in the bed of his vehicle before climbing into the driver’s seat.

When two Arkansas neighbors allegedly combined alcohol, a bulletproof vest, and a rifle, the ill-advised blend resulted in class D felony charges for both men.

On March 31, 50-year-old Charles Ferris, and his 36-year-old neighbor Christopher Hicks were hanging out together and enjoying some drinks on Ferris’ backyard deck.

At some point in the evening, Ferris decided he would wear a bulletproof vest. While donning the body armor he allegedly got it in his head that he should goad Hicks into shooting him in the chest using the loaded rifle.
