A woman who was reportedly upset because her longtime acquaintance owed her $7 allegedly set the man’s front door on fire after they got into an argument at his home.

It is often said that one should never loan money to friends, and on July 3, an incident occurred in Salisbury, Maryland, that supported the advice. According to reports, a man and woman who have known each other for years were at his house together when they began to argue. The woman reportedly insisted that he owed her $7, and she wanted the man to give it to her immediately. The situation was left unresolved, and she took off.

When the authorities later viewed surveillance videos collected from businesses around the residence, they noted that the events following her departure implicated her in a multitude of criminal acts. It appeared that someone fitting her description went back to the home with a bottle in their hand and approached the front door. Just before it began to burn, the woman reportedly doused the front door with the contents from the container.

The manager of a Subway in northeastern Florida was arrested after allegedly grabbing a juvenile at the restaurant and trapping her behind a closed door as her mother struggled to get her back.

On July 21, the manager on duty at a Subway restaurant in Jacksonville had just finished mopping a section of the floor in the lobby when a woman and her 10-year-old daughter entered the eatery. While they were there, they reportedly had an unexpected encounter with the man that led to his arrest. The youngster walked onto the area where the manager had just mopped, and he allegedly became angry about what was purported to be a careless act. His response to the situation was reportedly frightening, and the authorities were alerted.

When deputies with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office showed up, they talked to the child’s mother, and she provided them with her version of the incident. She told them that after her daughter stepped on the recently washed floor, she told the child to say she was sorry for the mishap. In what the woman initially thought was a joke, the manager reportedly took the youngster by the hand and led her to the back of the eatery, where he allegedly put her in a room. She reported that when she tried to get her daughter back, the man closed the door and blocked her until she argued with him and became frantic.

A Montana man with sixteen prior convictions for driving while impaired was arrested last week for allegedly getting behind the wheel while intoxicated a seventeenth time.

On the evening of April 12, a 73-year-old man with a female passenger was driving a Toyota Prius through Missoula when an officer from the Missoula Police Department spotted the vehicle and asserted that it had no visible license plates. The officer pulled over the driver, and the man stopped in a nearby parking lot without incident.

When the officer peered into the vehicle, they reported that they noticed a bottle of what appeared to be whisky in the driver’s side door pocket. It was also noted that the officer believed the man, who has been convicted of six prior DUIs and 10 impaired driving charges, was showing several indications of intoxication. It was also reported that the man was driving without a license and insurance, and did not have the title for the Prius with him. He was asked to get out of the car, and the driver did not consent to taking roadside sobriety tests. He was allegedly uncooperative and argumentative when the officer tried to cuff him.

An Ohio man who is already facing charges for theft-related offenses was apprehended for additional theft charges last weekend after allegedly stealing multiple packages of medicine from a store in Wood County.

According to reports, over the past month, a man from Bowling Green has had more than one run-in with the law that led to his arrest. Early in the morning on January 3, the 32-year-old was reportedly strolling down the middle of the left lane on a two-way street during a snowstorm. Officers from the Bowling Green Police Department spotted him and approached, but they reported that when they told him to stop, the man continued walking. He reported continued struggling when they handcuffed him. After he was taken into custody, he was jailed on suspicion of obstructing official business, resisting arrest, and pedestrian walking in the roadway.

On the evening of January 11, the authorities were notified about a potential theft. When the police went to the establishment and spoke to the employees, they informed the officers that prior to the current incident, the person they named as the suspect had stolen goods from their store several times. When the man was searched, he was allegedly found with the contents of two boxes of cold medicine.

A man is facing several charges after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s residence and attacking her.

On the evening of July 31, a woman returned to her apartment after work, and when she walked through the door, she was reportedly approached by a man she previously dated for a couple of weeks. It was reported that she tried to stop him, but he entered the residence without her permission. She became concerned for her safety and locked herself in the bathroom, but the man allegedly broke through the door. He reportedly struck her until she fell into the shower, and then continued assaulting her while he asked her for a knife and threatened to murder her.

When the situation calmed down, the man reportedly said he knew what he did could cause him to go to jail. He allegedly forced the woman to go with him and get in his car. They stopped at a convenience store, and when the man went inside to get ice for her face, the woman used the opportunity to leave the vehicle. She called a ride service and went to her sister’s house.

A corrections officer in Florida is facing career-ending domestic violence charges after allegedly beating his wife when they got into a dispute over their child.

On the afternoon of February 25, a 36-year-old man who works as a Miami-Dade corrections corporal was reportedly involved in a savage encounter with his wife. According to reports, the incident started when the couple became embroiled in a disagreement about their son.

The argument intensified, and the woman punched the bedroom door, reportedly causing her husband to become angry. The man allegedly responded by getting physically violent with his spouse and yanking the wig off her head before punching her in the face. He allegedly slammed her head into the wall, spit on her, and struck her with a candle holder hard enough to break it. He also allegedly strangled her from behind with his hands while she tried to get away. His wife reported that she was unable to breathe.

An Alabama man was arrested for drug-related offenses in Florida when the authorities found him outside a residence seated in his truck with a parrot on his shoulder.

On the morning of December 15, a man driving a truck reportedly pulled up to a residence in Chipley, a Northwest Florida city in the panhandle. He exited the vehicle and allegedly started banging on the door. The residents reportedly told him to leave their property several times, but the man allegedly disregarded their requests.

He returned to his truck, but the man remained parked in front of the home. The residents notified the authorities and reported the situation.

A man and woman with different accounts of what happened reportedly got into a fight in his Las Vegas hotel room resulting in an arrest and the loss of a piece of a toe.

On the morning of September 4, a 35-year-old man was spending time at a bar when he walked up to a woman and asked her to accompany him back to his room at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

According to the woman, when they arrived at the room, she began to fiddle with the Bluetooth connection on her phone so she could play music. Since it did not work, she said the man gave her his phone so she could try that instead. He was sitting with her when he allegedly became angry because he believed she was going through the personal content on his cell phone.

Tennessee Titans running back Hassan Haskins and his now ex-girlfriend were arrested for domestic violence offenses after the woman gave another man attention on Instagram, and it caused an explosive argument.

On June 22, Hassan Haskins and his live-in girlfriend were in their Nashville home when the man noticed she clicked “like” on a man’s Instagram post. The internet action caused the pair to argue, and things reportedly became heated.

According to reports, the woman threw Haskins’ shoes in the closet, and the fighting became physical. They allegedly slapped each other, and Haskins reportedly held the woman by the throat for 10 – 15 seconds using both hands. When the fight settled down, Haskins left the house.

A Florida woman was arrested after allegedly attacking a man in his vehicle and injuring an officer’s hand before leaping out a two-story window in a purported attempt to escape. 

On the evening of November 20, a man and his wife went to a relative’s apartment in Gainesville for a visit. 

When they were leaving, the couple got into their vehicle and a woman from an adjoining apartment rushed out the door and began screaming at the man.
