The grandmother of a man with a warrant was reportedly tazed three times with a stun gun when she tried to prevent law enforcement from entering her residence.

On the morning of December 24, deputies from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a home listed as the current address of a man who was reportedly in violation of the terms of his probation.

When they knocked on the door, the woman who answered was identified as the suspect’s grandmother, Barbara Pinkney, who was celebrating her 70th birthday.

When a man’s grandmother would not give him the money he asked her for he allegedly forced her down in order to take it from the underwear she was wearing at the time.

On August 30, a 63-year-old woman notified the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office to report that her 19-year-old grandson had come to her residence and robbed money from her in an aggressive manner.

The alleged victim told the authorities that when her family member, Memphis resident Jared Otte, came into her house he attempted to pressure her into giving him money. The woman said that when she denied complying, Otte shoved her onto a bed and would not allow her to get up as he lifted up the dress she had on. She reported that her grandson proceeded to aggressively take $10 that she had placed inside of her underpants.

On Saturday evening, a grandmother of two was arrested and accused of endangering her grandchildren when she took a drive with them placed in dog kennels in the back of her SUV for the trip.

Tennessee resident 62-year-old Leimome Cheeks is the grandmother of two children, ages 7 and 8. According to testimony given by some of her neighbors, she is known for being a good person and has often been seen outside playing with her grandchildren and dogs.

Cheeks reportedly took a road trip on the 95-degree evening going from Whitehaven to Collierville, with the children in tow. Cheeks had recently gotten two puppies and had their kennels in the rear of her vehicle. Her SUV was allegedly too full of items to allow the children to use the standard seats, so Cheeks asked them to ride in the kennels for the 30-minute trip instead.

A 75-year-old woman who authorities have nicknamed “Kingpin Granny” is facing six felony charges for allegedly selling prescription pills out of her home in Tennessee.

Betty Jean Jordan, a grandmother and homeowner from Parsons, Tennessee, has become one of the people who has raised the interest of police who are conducting an investigation into the illegal drug sales activity in the area.

Undercover agents confirmed their suspicions by arranging a meeting with Jordan with the intent to buy illegal prescription drugs from her, and they allege that she sold them the medication.
