A shopper in a Texas Walmart is facing several charges after the authorities accused her of trying to steal items by using the barcode scanner incorrectly while checking out of the store. 

It was reported that on September 3, the Walmart Supercenter in Brownsville, Texas, had a patron who tried to scam them when they used the self-checkout. 

The woman reportedly had items in her cart totaling an estimated $100.

An assistant manager at a Florida Dollar Tree store allegedly took her 15-year-old son to the store to assist her in stealing over $5,000 during a staged robbery. 

According to reports, one of the duties of the assistant manager at Dollar Tree is to handle the after-hours cash bank deposits when the store closes. 

In the middle of August, some of the deposits were reportedly never received by the bank.

One of two alleged thieves at a California Home Depot in Stanislaus County reportedly sprayed a loss prevention officer with scorpion killer spray when confronted about the purported pilfering. 

Early in the afternoon on June 17, two women were at a Home Depot store located in Turlock. 

A loss prevention officer spotted the duo and believed they might have been pocketing items that they did not plan on purchasing.

A woman was arrested after she was reportedly seen spitting fruit pieces from her mouth into produce bins at Walmart costing the store hundreds of dollars in loss of product.

Around 7:00 pm on April 22, a manager at the Holly Hill Walmart was working on ordering stock online when she reportedly saw a woman tampering with a sealed package of guava.

The manager reported that the shopper removed the guava from the package and bit into it. The woman then allegedly spit the pre-chewed fruit into her hand before taking another bite and spitting it into the opposite hand. Pieces of the chewed fruit, in addition to spit from the shopper’s mouth reportedly sprayed throughout a bin containing loose limes.

An inebriated man who was accused of stealing meat and propane from Walmart also allegedly assaulted one of the police officers involved in his arrest.

While officers were in the loss prevention office in a Nashville Walmart after responding to a call for assistance for a separate incident, they reportedly spotted what they believed was a theft in progress.

The surveillance camera feed, which is monitored in the office, caught the eye of the authorities when they saw someone in the establishment storing merchandise inside his pants.

An Ohio grocery store reported that they have suffered a loss of over $9,000 due to one of their long-term employees eating slices of lunchmeat during her shifts without paying for the food.

The management of loss prevention at the Giant Eagle grocery store chain located in Bolivar, Ohio, received information alleging that one of the employees of the market had been eating up to five slices per shift of cold cuts from the deli counter without paying for the items in the five or more years that she worked for the company.

The amount of missing product, which were reported as mostly ham and some salami, was estimated to hold a total of $9200. The suspected theft was reported to the authorities, and an officer with the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office took the statement from the manager by telephone.
