A Minnesota man whose house was robbed reportedly modified a baseball bat using razor wire, nails, and screws and beat the suspected thief with it when they returned to his property a second time.

On April 14, an alleged burglar climbed through the window of a Mankato residence in the Eastwood Manor Mobile Home Park and reportedly stole items from the abode.

When the dweller discovered he had been robbed, he checked the surveillance video, and the footage showed the person entering and leaving his home. The man was convinced he recognized the alleged perpetrator as someone who previously stole from one of his neighbors.

A man with a criminal history was allegedly found with drugs in the pants he was wearing, and he claimed that they belonged to a man who is significantly shorter than himself. 

37-year-old Brandon Cihak resides in Minnesota, and he is an ex-convict on probation. 

Late in the morning on January 5, Cihak was reportedly driving a Ford F-150 in Mankato with a person sitting in the passenger’s seat.

A confidential informant working with the police department allegedly caught a woman employed at a local movie theater selling drugs by concealing them inside of a popcorn bag.

39-year-old Jamie Lynn Hiniker lives in Mankato. She is employed as the manager at Spotlight Theatres in the Mankato Place Mall.

Last summer, the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force was investigating claims that drug sales had been taking place at the Spotlight Theater. The authorities believed that Hiniker was involved in the alleged illegal activities.

When a woman was reportedly attacked by the father of her son while the child was present, she sprayed him in the face with hornet spray to fend him off.

39-year-old Mohamed Aboubaker lives in Minneapolis and has a 3-year-old son with a woman in Mankato. Aboubaker recently reportedly went to her residence for a couple of days to spend time with the woman and their child.

On March 21, the mother of the boy went to McDonald’s to grab some food.

A man is facing felony charges after the son of an 88-year-old woman reported that he watched on webcam as the employee sexually violate his mother in her residential senior care facility.

52-year-old Olabamidele Bewaji is an employee at The Pillars of Mankato Senior and Assisted Living Facility in Minnesota.

An 83-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s resides in one of the apartments on the premises. Her son reported that her room contains several live video streaming cameras to keep an eye on her well-being as needed.

A woman is facing charges after she allegedly smacked a store employee and tore the protective mask off his face when she was told she would have to wear a face mask if she wanted to enter the establishment.

Around noon on May 20, an employee of Menards in Mankato, Minnesota reportedly encountered a woman trying to enter the store without a face covering.

The worker reportedly informed the woman about the store policy requiring face masks for all customers and employees, but she allegedly refused to follow the rule.
