Three men in Maryland are facing a total of ninety-five theft-related charges for their alleged involvement in incidents where nearly $200,000 was robbed from multiple ATMs that were busted open with jaws of life rescue tools.

According to reports, at the end of January, a string of ATM robberies in 7-Eleven stores throughout Prince George’s County began. The first and second events happened in Beltsville and Upper Marlboro on January 29. Additional incidents occurred on February 1 in Lanham, February 6 in Oxon Hill, February 19 in Beltsville, and February 22 in Lanham. The authorities believed the robberies were linked since they were each carried out the same way.

During their investigation, the authorities learned that the suspects, who brought a jaws of life tool, waited until the early morning hours to go to the convenience stores. Everyone in the establishments at the time of the alleged robberies was made to lie on the floor at gunpoint. The jaws of life were reportedly used to break open the ATMs, and the suspects made off with the cash.

The authorities are investigating a slew of robberies where different sets of suspects reportedly stole cases of high-end beer from several 7-Eleven locations in Broward County.

Starting on November 16, 7-Eleven stores in Broward County, Florida reported that they had been targeted many times by people taking cases of the more expensive brands of beer from their stock and walking out of the store without paying.

On the 16th, a 7-Eleven in Ft. Lauderdale allegedly experienced the first of two lager thefts. The second reportedly occurred on November 19.

Two men, Jonathan Cephus, 36, and Melvin Collins, 33, are allegedly responsible for a long list of robberies that began on July 5, 2013. Cephus held up a Little Caesars in Fullerton, according to Senior Deputy District Attorney Brock Zimmon.

Cephus later pistol-whipped a man as he robbed a Del Taco in Anaheim on July 22nd. On July 26th, Cephus robbed a Jack in Box in Anaheim and on August 28th Cephus again robbed a Jack in the Box in Anaheim, Zimmon said.

Four more robberies took place on September 2, 2013. The first one happened at 7 a.m. at a Burger King in Buena Park, but Collins got scared away when the clerk mentioned that there were many surveillance cameras in the store, According to Zimmon.
