On the afternoon of November 28, the authorities received a report of a single-car crash in San Antonio. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office went to the location to investigate, and they reported that they found an SUV on the side of the road that had crashed into a pole. A 31-year-old woman was identified as the driver, and her six children were with her. The youngsters were between the ages of 2 and 12 years old. Everyone in the vehicle appeared to require medical treatment.
The authorities were able to review forensic data, and they reported that the woman may have been driving approximately 20 miles over the posted speed limit. They also noted that it appeared as if she had lost control of the vehicle before crashing into the pole.
