The wife of the Sonoma County Sheriff was arrested for driving under the influence after she allegedly crashed her vehicle through the side of a home and injured one of the inhabitants.

Just before 1:00 AM on May 20, the Santa Rosa Police Department received a flow of calls reporting a situation where a vehicle smashed into a house.

The neighbors that notified the authorities said a car jumped the curb, went through a fence, and destroyed the front yard of a residence before propelling through the home.

A man in Santa Rosa who was found sleeping in his car at a gas pump allegedly backed his car up and slammed into a police vehicle, in addition to injuring a sergeant.

Just before 2:30 am, a patrol sergeant from the Santa Rosa Police Department was working the graveyard shift, and he stopped to grab a cup of coffee at a local 7-Eleven gas station and convenience store. 

When he walked out of the store, he reported that he saw someone in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked in front of one of the gas pumps. He believed the man was unconscious.

A teen accused of driving under the influence after crashing his car in Santa Rosa was allegedly found with drugs and a ghost gun in his residence.

19-year-old Luis Fajardo Melgoza lives in Santa Rosa, California.

Around 6:30 am on July 25, Melgoza was driving locally in a gray Honda Accord.

A woman is facing many charges after allegedly driving to the police department while under the influence to give her youngster’s father custody of the child before forcing the police to chase her. 

A mother from Santa Rosa who is being identified in reports as “Dorfer” has a child. Dorfer and the youngster’s father share custody, and they have an agreement on how often they each will take the child. 

On the evening of June 3, Dorfer and the youngster’s father arranged to meet at the Cotati Police Department to make the custody exchange.

A Florida woman was taken into custody for allegations of child abuse for two separate incidents on Thanksgiving and the following day. 

31-year-old Tomasina Frate lives in Milton, Florida.  

On Thanksgiving, Frate and her family gathered at her home for a pool party.

A man was taken into custody in Redding after allegedly driving under the influence, attacking a convenience store employee, and causing two automobile accidents.

46-year-old Michael Hernandez hails from Santa Rosa, California.

On the morning of November 2, Hernandez reportedly took a trip to Redding in his vehicle.

While reportedly fighting with a friend who was helping him with home improvements, a Florida teen allegedly threw a lit piece of cardboard into a bucket of her kittens causing injury to one of the felines.

On May 22, 18-year-old William Carr reportedly asked one of his female friends to come to his home in Milton to assist him with a project involving painting.

When the woman arrived at Carr’s residence she was reportedly accompanied by two adult cats and their litter of kittens, which she had temporarily placed in a bucket.

A Santa Rosa woman and her son were arrested on Friday for allegations that they were running a prostitution ring involving up to 150 women over a 10-year period of time. They are also suspected of using properties as brothels to employ women as sex workers.

59-year-old Fay Ruth Romesburg is an author of female-empowering erotic literature under the pseudonym F.R.R. Mallory, and she identifies herself as a feminist. She is the mother of 38-year-old David Scott Romesburg III with whom she shares a home and declared as dependent on the earnings from her writing career.

At the end of last year, Rohnert Park Police was notified by an apartment manager reporting suspicious activity leading them to believe that one of the units was being used as a brothel. One of the neighbors added to the complaint and stated that men visited the apartment regularly. The Santa Rosa Police Department had also been notified with similar information regarding a private home in their district.

A car containing two people was pulled over by Ripton police officers performing a traffic stop for expired vehicle registration tags on Wednesday. Upon inspection they located items in the car that they believe had been stolen in a string of recent vehicle burglaries that took place in Santa Rosa and Modesto. In addition, the officers allegedly discovered methamphetamine and a fake gun in the car.

The driver of the Buick, 45-year-old Robert Lenton Ruiz, was found to be on probation and wanted for an arrest warrant for misdemeanor vandalism. 39-year-old Elisa Marie Cabonios, the passenger of the vehicle, possessed an arrest warrant for petty theft. The two were placed under arrest at the scene.

Ruiz and Cabonios are each facing allegations for possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance and destroying or concealing evidence. Ruiz must also face charges for driving with a suspended license and violation of a court order.
