When the authorities came across a New Jersey man working as a Lyft driver, they allegedly found that he did not possess a valid driver’s license and that his DMV record displayed more than a few suspensions of his privilege to operate a motor vehicle.

On Saturday night, 57-year-old Leith Crossen was accused of using his Volkswagen Jetta to pick up and transport passengers for the Lyft ride service when he was not legally permitted to do so.

As the authorities were in pursuit of a vehicle that they believed was being operated by an intoxicated driver they reported that the suspect attempted to switch seats with his passenger before officers approached the car.

Early on Saturday, Tempe police officers spotted an automobile allegedly being driven down the road erratically and weaving between the designated driving lanes.

As the police came up to the vehicle they allegedly caught the driver, identified as 40-year-old Terrell Maurice Ray, and the passenger of the car changing seats in what was believed to be an attempt to convince the officers that the passenger was operating the automobile.

Nebraska police have accused a man of driving under the influence after he reportedly crashed a vehicle into a tree stump and a wall on a residential property and credited the incident to his mimicking of a famous Jim Carey film character.

Around 1:00 am on Saturday morning, the driver of a Buick was reported to have navigated off of the road in a manner that caused the car to strike a tree and a barrier in the front yard of a house.

The driver of the vehicle continued his journey without stopping after the accident, and the police took only moments before they arrived at the home where the crash happened.

A Toronto police officer is facing legal and employment consequences after he tampered with evidence in a drug case resulting in the release of seven suspects.

At the end of January, 36-year-old Vittorio Dominelli, an officer with the Toronto police for 13 years, was part of a team carrying out a raid on a marijuana shop that was under investigation for running an illegal operation. While they were collecting evidence, Dominelli retained three chocolate candy bars containing cannabis oil that he saw had been left out of the collection bag.

After the raid, Dominelli and his partner that evening went out for a bite to eat and he confided in her about stealing the candy bars. He additionally told her that he felt like he should throw them away while they were at the restaurant, but they ultimately decided that it would not be safe to get rid of them in a place that is accessible to the public.

A mother who was driving with her three children on Saturday night collided with an object and when the police responded they alleged that the woman caused the mishap because she was operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

28-year-old Kianna Monique Pugh was driving in downtown Modesto, just over an hour from Sacramento, late in the evening on Saturday with her three children as passengers in the back seat.

Pugh was reportedly involved in a small accident around 11:30 pm when the vehicle she was operating made an impact with a fixture.

A man from Virginia is facing charges after a Florida officer allegedly found him napping in his underpants inside his vehicle, which reportedly contained marijuana, on the side of the Interstate.

Just before midnight on September 14, a Highway Patrol officer saw a car parked on the side of the road on Interstate 95 with the emergency flashers turned on.

As the officer approached the vehicle it was reported that the man inside was asleep and wearing nothing but a pair of underwear.

A man who was pulled over by the police while he was driving in Florida was allegedly discovered carrying a hatchet in his vehicle during a routine traffic stop.

A 23-year-old man from Danville, Kentucky, was traveling in his vehicle through Clearwater, Florida, last Thursday, when he was involved in a routine traffic stop.

When the officer approached the man’s car he was identified as Travis Byerly, and he was reportedly driving with a license that had been suspended nearly a month prior, to which he allegedly did not dispute when it was discovered.
