A Minnesota college student was taken into custody after the authorities said he made multiple threats involving a campus fraternity and was later found carrying weapons.

According to court documents, the investigation began when a fraternity member alerted campus public safety at a university in St. Cloud. The student claimed another individual had allegedly been making statements about carrying out a shooting at the fraternity house after being rejected from joining.

The situation escalated weeks after an earlier incident in which the suspect allegedly believed someone had been sent to attack him. The authorities said he later confronted a fraternity member on campus, approaching from behind in a skyway and questioning whether that person had arranged the prior assault. During that encounter, he allegedly made threatening remarks, including statements about killing whoever was responsible and suggesting he would act even if the person he was speaking to was involved.

A Texas man was recently arrested after the authorities discovered that his disabled wife had allegedly been confined to a bedroom of their family home for several years.

Investigators say the situation was revealed on March 6 when the woman briefly called 911. The authorities later alleged that the call was only possible because the man had accidentally left his phone inside the room before leaving the house. The man returned home while she was still on the call, and he allegedly struck her, carried her back to the bed, and ended the call.

Police later responded to the residence and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the call. The investigation reportedly led the authorities to conclude that the woman had been kept locked inside a bedroom of the home for approximately five years.

Two roommates were reportedly arrested in St. George, Utah, after the authorities executed a search warrant at their residence and allegedly discovered 19 firearms along with several types of suspected drugs.

According to reports, the investigation began at approximately 10 p.m. on March 4 when two officers who were on foot patrol and reportedly smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the backyard of a nearby home. The officers contacted the residents and asked for permission to search the property, but consent was allegedly denied. The authorities searched after obtaining a warrant.

Court documents stated that officers first located marijuana-related drug paraphernalia in the backyard, including items that had been placed inside a smoker grill. Some of the paraphernalia was reportedly claimed by another individual who was present at the residence.

A Florida man with a felony criminal history is facing several charges after the police interacted with him during a traffic stop and accused him of driving with firearms while intoxicated, when he had a baby in the vehicle.

On May 2, a man from Palm Coast was driving locally in an SUV with two passengers: a woman and an 8-month-old. The SUV caught the attention of another motorist, who believed they saw the driver holding guns. They did not think the firearms were being used to harm anyone, but they notified the authorities to let them know about the situation.

Deputies from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office went to the area where the caller reported seeing the SUV, and they quickly located it. They reported that the vehicle was being operated erratically, and they pulled over the driver. When they looked inside, they allegedly found two guns, ammunition, and a drink believed to be an alcoholic beverage. According to reports, the man, who was found to have several prior felony arrests, did not perform well on the roadside sobriety tests.

A man in Mississippi is facing a multitude of charges after the authorities allegedly found enough narcotics to believe he was trafficking, in addition to having several firearms in his home.

According to reports, the authorities had been watching the activities at the Jackson, Mississippi, residence of a 38-year-old man who they believed was involved in drug trafficking. After obtaining a search warrant on June 11, Capitol Police officers went to the home with agents from the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.

The man was there when they arrived, and law enforcement entered the home. During the search of the residence, in addition to two rifles, two shotguns, and a pistol, the authorities reportedly found meth, marijuana, cocaine, crack, oxycodone, morphine, and over two dozen pills, some of which were identified as Xanax.

A man in Maryland who allegedly had road rage is facing several charges after the police found drugs and many illegal firearms at his house.

On the morning of August 13, a 30-year-old man was driving in Gambrills when he encountered a vehicle that was noticeably being driven above the posted speed limit. When the vehicle rolled up next to the other driver, the person in the passenger’s seat allegedly pointed what appeared to be a handgun at him before they sped off.

Around 10:00 AM, the authorities were notified by the alleged victim. He shared his account of what happened, in addition to providing them with a description of the vehicle the suspects were in.

Five suspects from Ontario are each facing an immense number of charges after a special police force found them with hundreds of thousands of dollars, nearly $400,000 in drugs, and illegal firearms.

The Thunder Bay Police Service Intelligence Unit was working on an investigation into the possibility of a drug trafficking situation taking place in two homes in the same area. They believed five suspects were working together.

On the evening of May 10, law enforcement dispatched to the residences and allegedly recovered a sizeable stash of fentanyl, cocaine, Oxycodone, and Alprazolam, in addition to around $370,000. Firearms and ammunition were also located in the homes.

Four Texas teenagers are facing several charges for their alleged involvement in a string of burglaries, car and firearm thefts, and credit/debit card abuse. 

Last December in Kyle, Texas, the authorities learned that 21 vehicles had been burglarized. The responsible party or parties also stole firearms and personal items such as debit and credit cards. It was reported that some of the owners had left their keys inside the vehicles, giving the perpetrator(s) easy access. 

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office and the Kyle Police Department teamed up to work on the investigation of the reported crimes.

A Florida man was placed under arrest after leading the police on a chase in a reportedly stolen four-wheeler in which a firearm and drugs were allegedly discovered.

Justin Williamson resides in the census-designated unincorporated community of Geneva in Seminole County, Florida. Williamson was previously convicted of a felony.

On April 16, Williamson was reportedly driving on the highway on a four-wheeler.

A man is facing many charges after he was accused of imprisoning his girlfriend and torturing her for a month until she was able to free herself. 

29-year-old Saul Ortega resides in Modesto, California. He recently reportedly started a relationship with a 25-year-old woman that also lives in Modesto. 

Last Saturday, the woman notified the authorities and said that she had been kidnapped by Ortega and held for about a month. She reported that she was able to escape.
