Last weekend, the authorities reported that a string of car burglaries had taken place around the Deltona area. Surveillance videos collected from the scenes reportedly showed that the suspects were two individuals in masks and gloves.
One of the vehicles allegedly taken was a Mercedes. Surveillance footage from a nearby gas station showed a male driver with tattoos on his neck and face, and the authorities were able to use the information to identify the suspect.

Instead of placing an order, he allegedly told her to give him the money from the cash register. The employee believed he had a firearm, and she froze in fear. When one of her coworkers came to see what was happening, the man quickly left the restaurant.
Later that day in the City of Palm Bay, a bank was visited by a man wearing a face mask and a hat. He allegedly went to the counter and attempted to rob money from the financial institution. Again, he fled before he was able to obtain any money.
On July 20, a man from Rosewood, Florida, who is a convicted felon was at his home when he and a woman he was with began to argue. The dispute intensified, and the fight allegedly became violent.
The man allegedly grabbed the woman and submerged her head in a vat holding an oily substance. The Sheriff’s Office press release described the gunk as a “tar-like substance” used to treat clam and oyster bags.
Early in the morning on July 19, a man was driving a Nissan Murano in Naples on Interstate 95. He was reportedly in an area with a marked speed limit of 70 MPH, but the man was allegedly driving much faster than what was legal.
Deputies from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office spotted the vehicle, and they alleged that their radar clocked the vehicle’s speed at 117 MPH.
A Florida man is expected to face charges for attempted murder after he reportedly found out his wife was in bed with one of her coworkers in his Airbnb, and allegedly showed up with a metal bat and brutally assaulted the man.
On June 17, a woman and her coworker who was in town on business decided to grab a few drinks together after the workday ended. The man is a travel CT Technician who lives in Arizona. When they were finished with their drinks, he asked the woman to come back to his vacation rental in Lake Worth Beach to hang out.
Around 11:00 PM, the pair was reportedly laying on the bed, and they heard someone open the front door and let themselves in the apartment.
A Florida man was arrested after allegedly robbing a gas station at gunpoint and trying to run away from the authorities when they spotted him.
At approximately 2:30 am on June 12, a man wearing a gray hoodie and a rainbow bandana over his nose and mouth walked into a Marathon gas station market and bought a pack of cigarettes.
The customer used cash for the transaction, and when the register was open, he allegedly pulled a handgun out of his hoodie and pointed it at the cashier. The man reportedly ordered the employee to place the store’s phone, their cell phone, and everything in the register into a bag.
A Florida man with 139 prior felonies who was wanted on a parole violation was arrested after allegedly smashing a car through a condominium, removing his ankle monitor, and diving out the window of an apartment he reportedly burglarized.
At approximately 4:00 am on June 11, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office was notified by 911 informing them that many people had called to report an ongoing incident at the Sandalwood Apartments in Wildwood. According to the callers, a car had smashed into the building, and the driver was breaking into the units in the building.
The authorities rushed to the scene, and they learned the man trapped himself in an apartment on the second floor. Police attempted to coax him outside, but the man refused. Members of SCSO S.W.A.T. and a crisis negotiation team arrived, and they spent several hours trying to de-escalate the situation.
A Florida man who believed he was being chased by a spirit reportedly fled through the streets and attempted to break into an occupied home for asylum.
On May 24, a man and woman rented a room at Daytona Beach Travel Inn.
The pair went into their room, and after approximately half an hour after they got there, they heard noises coming from the window causing them to think someone was trying to break in.

At approximately 5:45 PM on May 23, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office received an alert about a situation involving a man who had been stabbed in the neck by his roommate at a residence in North Gainesville.
Deputies went to the home to investigate, and a dispatcher informed them that the alleged victim was injured so badly that blood was shooting out of the wound.
