Off Duty Officer Arrested on DUI Charges

An off-duty Florida police officer was arrested after deputies allegedly found him stopped in the roadway while driving under the influence following reports of dangerous driving.

According to the authorities, deputies responded during the early morning hours after receiving reports of a vehicle traveling the wrong way and striking curbs. When they located the car, it was reportedly stopped in the roadway with its engine still running and the driver seated behind the wheel.

Deputies repeatedly instructed the driver to shut off the vehicle and exit. Court records allege the driver instead remained inside with his hands outside the window, telling deputies he was frightened before eventually getting out of the vehicle. After being detained, the officer allegedly identified himself as a member of a local police department and told deputies they were “on the same team.”

DUI Suspect Tried to Escape Jail with Bra Wire

When a woman was jailed for allegedly driving under the influence, she reportedly took the underwire out of her bra and tried to use it to escape.

In the evening on Halloween, Susan Mae Sheppard, a 59-year-old living in Central Florida, was reportedly in an automobile accident while driving an SUV.

It was reported that the collision took place at Walgreens in The Villages.

Elderly Hospital Patient Accused Worker of Sucking Her Toes

An employee of a Florida hospital has been accused of sucking on an elderly patient’s toes while she slept in her bed.

23-year-old Frantz Beldorin was working his shift as a sitter at Gulf Coast Hospital in Fort Meyers on Monday night.

When Beldorin went into one of the patient’s rooms an event reportedly transpired involving the elderly woman who was sleeping in her bed.

Florida Man Pistol-Whips Woman with Her Own Gun

A woman reported that she was physically assaulted on Saturday by the man she shares a residence with. The fight allegedly broke out when she refused his request for a ride to Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Calvin Shuler allegedly spent the entire weekend celebrating his 47^th birthday using alcohol and cocaine in the residence he shares with the victim. He decided he wanted her to drive him to KFC and she denied him, causing an argument to ensue.

The woman became frightened for her safety and attempted to lock herself in the bedroom. Shuler purportedly became increasingly angry and threatened to kick the door down. He followed through with his warning and burst into the room when she refused to unlock it, and she claimed that he jumped on top of her while she was laying in bed and began hitting her.
