Two people arguing on a flight out of Orlando were arrested after passengers reported that they overheard them talking about a bomb and weapons, and the plane was forced to land.

On December 5, a couple at the airport in Orlando, Florida, got into an argument just before boarding a Breeze Airlines flight to Providence, Rhode Island. The verbal dispute was reportedly still going strong when the pair got on the plane.

According to reports, the man threatened to tell people that the woman was carrying a bomb in her bag. The woman reportedly responded by threatening to inform them that he had weapons. Other passengers seated nearby reported they became nervous upon hearing the word “bomb.” One man asked a flight attendant to allow him and his daughter to move their seats away from the couple because of it.

A man in the Navy was arrested at a hotel in Florida for allegedly striking his girlfriend in the face several times after a dinner celebration for his promotion to Chief petty officer.

On the evening of October 6, a 36-year-old man who had recently been promoted to Chief petty officer in the United States Navy was attending a dinner party in his honor at the Doubletree Hotel in Jacksonville. His girlfriend reported that they arrived at the soiree around 5:00 p.m., and the couple rented a room for the night.

Just after midnight, while the pair was in their hotel room, they reportedly got into a verbal dispute. A man walking past the door reportedly heard the woman yelling for help, and he knocked until he was let in. He reportedly spotted the woman on the floor and helped her get downstairs so she could call the authorities.

A teenager who reportedly had a gun allegedly stole a street sweeper in Daytona Beach and forced the police to chase him for several hours. 

18-year-old Sterling Orlando Davis-Jones is from Jacksonville, Florida. He is currently on probation for grand theft, and it was reported that he has been involved in criminal activity since he was 10. He has been arrested for almost 40 offenses, some of which include grand theft, burglary, and possession of a firearm as a minor. 

Just after 4:00 am on June 13, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office was notified about a carjacking involving a man who reportedly stole a pickup truck-style street sweeper.

A man reportedly driving without a valid license allegedly swiped a county fire truck valued at over half a million dollars and drove away before smashing into a street sign.

30-year-old Cory M. Fisher lives in Jacksonville, Illinois.

Fisher has had some trouble with the law recently, and the police obtained a warrant for his arrest for allegations of failing to appear for a scheduled court date.

A mother who reportedly wore a boxing glove to a middle school campus is facing charges after allegedly brawling with and injuring a student in the cafeteria.

Edith Riddle is the 34-year-old mother to a girl enrolled at Dupont Middle School in Jacksonville.

During the school day on March 19, Riddle met with the principal to discuss her daughter’s behavior.

A naked man on the Interstate reportedly stole the vehicle of an officer that tried to help him and crashed the car into a wooded area before being detained.

Late in the morning on January 21, an officer with the Jacksonville County Sheriff’s Office was driving down Interstate 10 when he saw a nude man on the ground near the shoulder of the road.

The officer pulled over and left his keys in the vehicle when he went to see if the man required assistance.

The assistant manager of a Florida Circle K store was accused of swiping winning scratch-off lottery tickets worth thousands of dollars when they were reported missing from the store’s inventory.

37-year-old Richard Dawayne Fonville lives in Hilliard, Florida. He is employed as an assistant manager at a Circle K convenience store in Jacksonville, approximately 30-miles from his home.

Around Christmastime, the manager was needed at a different Circle K location and Fonville took over her duties during her absence from the site.

When a nude Florida man allegedly tried to rob a home, he was met by the owner who proceeded to defend his property by stabbing the purported thief.

At the beginning of August, a homeowner and his housemates were inside their house with the window open.

They reportedly heard a noise, and when the man went to inspect the source of the sound he allegedly came face-to-face with someone trying to break into his home through the window that was left ajar. The purported burglar was also allegedly not wearing any clothing.

A Jacksonville, Florida, school teacher is facing charges for hitting another mother who was present at a youth baseball practice when the teacher allegedly took offense to the other woman’s choice of clothing.

On February 23 at the Orange Park Athletic Association baseball field around 7:00 p.m. parents and spectators gathered to watch children during a little league practice session. Terry Lee Coursey, a 37-year-old mother and language arts teacher employed at Clay High School, was amongst those in attendance.

Coursey, who is from Mesquite, Texas, but now resides in Orange Park, Florida, reportedly noticed another mother and took issue with the woman’s attire, and chastised her for wearing shorts that exposed more than what she felt was appropriate for the event.

A Florida firefighter working with Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department was arrested on Tuesday for exchanging online messages of a sexual nature with a person that he believed was a 14-year-old girl. In actuality, the man had been speaking with an undercover detective impersonating the teenager for over three months.

In an attempt to better protect children from online sexual predators St. John’s County Sheriff’s Office launched “Operation Cruel Summer.” This project involves detectives posing as youth and visiting internet chat sites to engage in conversations with people seeking sexual relations with children.

The detective who purportedly spoke with 53-year-old David Eugene Labelle, the accused, had responded to an ad found online on July 27. Under the heading “Naughty Daughter,” the ad Labelle is accused of posting said, “Hi, how are you doing today? I would like to talk to you and let’s see what we can come up with. I have been looking for my naughty little girl. I am a 53 year old white married man.”
