A custodian at a southern New Jersey elementary school is facing felony charges after allegedly uploading images to an online texting app showing him tainting the cafeteria food and kitchen items with bleach, feces, and bodily fluids.

On October 30, someone was in a group thread on the online texting app called Telegram, and they reportedly began posting pictures. The images reportedly showed someone masturbating with items from a school kitchen. The man also allegedly urinated in objects used to cook and serve the students. He used bread to wipe his privates and he placed it back into the bag, in addition to spraying vegetables with bleach. The vegetables were served to the students.

One of the people who saw the images notified the authorities and told them they saved them so they could show them to the police. On the same day, the school received several calls from people who reported the online content.

An off-duty New Jersey police officer suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol may face charges after he allegedly got into a single-vehicle accident and drove away without reporting the incident. 

Late in the evening on September 2, someone driving a Chevy Avalanche crashed into a pole in a residential neighborhood. The person allegedly drove away after the accident. 

According to reports, the authorities investigated the accident and believed the driver was a police officer that has worked for the Saddle Brook Police Department for approximately five years.

Actor Gary Busey is facing charges after several women accused him of inappropriately touching them during a meet-and-greet event at a horror convention in New Jersey. 

Every year, the Doubletree Hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey hosts the Monster Mania Horror Convention. 

This year, the event was held on the weekend of August 12.

An Amazon driver in New Jersey was discovered while allegedly throwing hundreds of dollars of packages into the woods but reportedly told police it was feces he was discarding.

23-year-old Desmond Gould hails from New Castle, Delaware, and until recently, he was employed as a delivery driver for Amazon.

On November 2, Gould was reportedly driving an Amazon van while working a delivery route in a township in Southern New Jersey.

A New Jersey man was allegedly found with 500 pounds of THC candy stashed in his vehicle when he was pulled over for reportedly speeding and other illegal traffic maneuvers.

Around 11:00 am on October 5, 35-year-old Angelo Padilla Jr. was reportedly driving down the Indiana Toll Road.

Padilla was allegedly driving faster than the posted speed limit while trailing behind a semi-truck and reportedly performed an illegal lane change.

The 26-year-old wife of a 77-year-old millionaire is facing several theft-related charges after she allegedly tried to fraudulently obtain $1 million of his money without his knowledge.

Lin Helena Halfon, an Israel native, and her husband Richard Rappaport, the president of a Tampa-based medical device distribution company called Panther Medical, have been married for approximately 7-months. The couple reportedly lives separately with Halfon residing in her own apartment.

Last November, Halfon reportedly visited Amscot Financial in Tampa and presented a cashier’s check made out to her husband to the teller, and allegedly informed the staff that she and Rappaport planned to use the cash for the purchase of a yacht in Miami. The request was denied due to the fact that Rappaport was not present at the time.

A 15-year-old girl who met a man with whom she became acquainted online in a New Jersey hotel room reportedly broke free and hid inside of a gas station convenience store after he allegedly sexually assaulted her.

On July 7, 21-year-old Xavier Patten and a female that he had allegedly been talking to on the internet made a plan to meet in person at a motel in Jersey City.

Patten was already inside the room when the young woman arrived wearing a red dress and joined him.

A Pompton Lakes man who volunteers as a Santa Claus impersonator was pulled over while driving on Monday and arrested for alleged drug charges.

Charles R. Smith, a retired New Jersey Transit worker, currently does volunteer work dressing as Santa Claus for the Toys for Tots Foundation. He had been driving down Route 46 around 2:00 in the morning on Monday when South Hackensack police pulled him over for a routine traffic stop. Smith stated that he was on his way to a nearby motel at the time. One of the officers spotted a crack pipe next to Smith’s Santa suit which was hanging in the vehicle, and a search of the car allegedly uncovered empty plastic bags containing crack cocaine and heroin residue. A hypodermic needle was also said to be amongst the contraband items.

66-year-old Smith was taken into custody and faces two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released shortly after his detainment and awaits a court hearing. It is unknown whether Smith has legal representation at this time.

A New Jersey judge was scolded by his peers for ruling that an Essex County mom was guilty of child abuse and neglect because she occasionally smoked marijuana.

On Thursday the Essex County mother was cleared of her charges almost three years after the birth of her son, who was born with some marijuana in his system because the mom smoked occasionally during her pregnancy to help with her appetite and anxiety.

After giving birth, the hospital notified Child Protection. As a result of the report, the agency was supervising her parenting of the children and required that she attend drug counseling.
