A woman was arrested last week after allegedly using a hypodermic needle she claimed was contaminated with AIDS to threaten a store clerk before she stole money.

In the early evening on December 14, a woman later identified as 34-year-old Ashley Demers visited a Seasons Corner Market in Raynham.

When she went into the store, Demers allegedly had a hypodermic in hand, and she reportedly said that it held a substance that was tainted with AIDS.

Last Sunday, 61-year-old Douglas Green and his wife were spending time at the Provo River Resort.

The couple reportedly began to talk about their plans, and they did not agree on what they should do for dinner.

An adoptive mother of four was criminally charged after she was accused of inflicting years of vicious abuse upon one of her children.

47-year-old Patricia Diane Hyler and her husband live in Pace, Florida with their four adopted children.

Hyler, who has experience as a teacher from working at Capstone Academy, and as a teacher at a church, has reportedly homeschooled the children for the past two years.

The mother of a boy who was reportedly relentlessly bullied at school allegedly made a video issuing threats to warn the children involved in tormenting her child that she would harm them if they did not stop.

Gainesville resident Cirea Oliver is a 29-year-old mother with an 11-year-old son.

Recently, Oliver reported that her son has been the target of bullies at Gainesville Middle School where he attends. The concerned mother reportedly approached the school about the situation, but they did not appear to take care of the matter in a way that relieved Oliver’s son of the alleged harassment.

A Yonkers man has been accused of violently assaulting a 78-year-old woman on the subway after she reportedly threatened to harm him and his family.

On March 10, 36-year-old Marc Gomez was riding a Subway in The Bronx with his fiancée and her preteen daughter when they encountered an elderly homeless woman who was lying across a row of seats.

The woman, who was preventing passengers from sitting during the ride, was said to have turned her attention toward Gomez and his family-to-be as she became boisterous in an assumed attempt to intimidate them.

46-year-old Erik Farnack and his wife live in a home together in Bangor, Pennsylvania.

On Sunday, at nearly 5:30 am, Farnack reportedly came home from a late night out when his wife reported that he seemed like he had been taking drugs. She decided to leave their home and did not return until later the next afternoon.

When three women shared an Uber ride in mid-June, they reported that their driver threatened their lives and would not allow them to exit the vehicle.

On June 15, three women who had attended a book club gathering together ordered an Uber to share for their ride back home.

The women reported that after they got into the vehicle and gave their destination to the driver he got on the Interstate and would not speak to them. The women alleged that he was also driving in a way that made them uncomfortable and that he taunted them by acting as if he might hit the center divider.

A teenage girl serving time at a juvenile jail in Orlando, Florida, has accused one of the facility guards of raping her and said that he warned her against reporting the incident by issuing threats to her.

26-year-old Marcus Leon James has been employed as a corrections officer at the Orange County Regional Juvenile Assessment and Detention Center for three-and-a-half years.

On Sunday, near 11:00 p.m., James reportedly ordered two young women to go to separate sections of the facility for cleaning duties. After the girls began their work James allegedly approached one of them, age 17, and took her to an empty office. When he got her alone he allegedly hit her, and sexually assaulted her by making her perform oral sex on him before he penetrated her until he ejaculated.

After a video of the arrest was recently released to the public, a New Jersey judge who was detained for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol in 2016 and found not guilty is now facing accusations that he used his position of power to try to prevent officers from detaining him.

Near 2:00 a.m. on November 12, 2016, police discovered a BMW pulled to the side of the interstate with its emergency lights turned on. When they reached the driver’s window they found a man reportedly sleeping inside of the car.

It was discovered that the man inside the car was Wilfredo Benitez, a part-time municipal judge in three local counties. When officers believed that he was intoxicated and attempted to take him into custody for the alleged offense Benitez was recorded on video using foul language and asserting that he is a judge. The video also depicts Benitez telling one of the officers that he was wasting his time, and threatened to fight him.
