The passenger of an Uber has been accused of performing acts of sexual self-gratification while the driver was in view and navigating to the man’s destination.

A driver who is employed with the Uber service responded to an early morning notification and picked up a man in need of a ride.

When the man got into the vehicle he reportedly chose to sit in the front passenger seat next to the driver. While the driver was making his way to the address that the client wanted to be dropped off the passenger allegedly exposed his genitals and started masturbating. The driver additionally alleged that the passenger asked him if he would like to touch his penis as well.

A man from Anaheim who is a driver for Uber is suspected of attempting to kidnap up to four different rides that he was providing services for in Santa Monica.

On Halloween night, a car matching the description of a vehicle authorized to serve as an Uber was reported to 911 just before 7:00 pm by a woman inside of the car. The customer reported that she had ordered a ride and her driver was not allowing her to get out of the car.

Police dispatched to search for the blue Prius that the woman reported. While they were in the process of looking they were notified of three more calls that were received by emergency services with reports of the same type of car, and the callers said that the driver had tried to kidnap them. All of the people additionally stated that they had the impression that the driver had a gun in the vehicle with him.

When three women shared an Uber ride in mid-June, they reported that their driver threatened their lives and would not allow them to exit the vehicle.

On June 15, three women who had attended a book club gathering together ordered an Uber to share for their ride back home.

The women reported that after they got into the vehicle and gave their destination to the driver he got on the Interstate and would not speak to them. The women alleged that he was also driving in a way that made them uncomfortable and that he taunted them by acting as if he might hit the center divider.

A man who formerly starred on a popular soap opera was allegedly intoxicated and helped by police officers when he was unable to order an Uber, but he was still charged with DUI when he did not take the Uber home and went to his vehicle instead.

On Sunday, May 20, 37-year-old Justin Torkildsen, a Daytime Emmy Award-winning actor who previously worked on The Young and the Restless was a patron in the St. Julien Hotel. While the Boulder, Colorado, native was there he reported that he had consumed four beverages resembling fruit punch and as he attempted to depart the staff believed he was intoxicated. They notified the Boulder Police for fear that it would be dangerous if Torkildsen attempted to drive in that condition.

Police arrived near 1:00 a.m. and they allegedly witnessed signs of inebriation in the way that Torkildsen was carrying himself.

On Christmas day, a high school soccer coach was placed under arrest for suspicion of human trafficking two teenage girls when he was found in the company of the young women after one of them called the authorities for help.

At nearly 3am on Monday, 911 received a call from a 17-year-old girl who reported that she was hiding from a man in a nearby vehicle who was waiting for her. She claimed that the man, identified as 34-year-old Elan Seagraves, had sexually assaulted her and forced her into prostitution.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department dispatched deputies to the scene where they located the girl in the yard, and they found Seagraves parked in a car nearby. They discovered a second teenage girl, also 17, sitting in the vehicle with Seagraves. Authorities posit they are both victims of human trafficking.

A man acting as an Uber driver has been accused of kidnapping and raping a woman who flagged him down for a ride early Sunday morning. The assault was said to have taken place on campus at American University where the victim is a student.

Around 3:00am on Sunday a woman and her male companion who had been drinking were rather intoxicated. When leaving the bar they were visiting they saw a car displaying an Uber sticker, and they signaled for a ride rather than using the app in the traditional fashion of ordering the service.

The driver, 36-year-old El Houcine Jourhdaly, allegedly informed the couple that he could only accept cash payment and proceeded to drive them to the university campus. The passengers began arguing in the back seat of the car causing the woman to move to the front seat where she passed out.
