A motorist who was allegedly operating his vehicle in an irregular manner has been charged with driving under the influence, and testing revealed that his blood-alcohol level was recorded at a dangerously high percentage.

On Sunday afternoon, the authorities were notified by more than one person stating that a vehicle was weaving around the road and causing concern that an accident might occur.

When police located the vehicle they believed matched the description of the driver that the people reported they had him come to a stop. The officer who first approached the vehicle alleged that the driver, identified as 50-year-old Ricardo Portillo-Gonzalez, had the odor of alcohol on him.

After her vehicle hit another car while driving on the interstate, the superintendent of the Cherokee County School District was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Gaffney resident Quincie Little Moore, whose husband said that she had gone to the Clemson game on Saturday, was driving home from the event a little after 1:00 am on Sunday.

Moore was said to be driving at an estimated speed of 10-20 mph on I-85 when she allegedly nodded off for a moment and hit into the back of another car on the road.

A man who has worked for the city Fire-Rescue department for 15 years has been accused of driving under the influence of alcohol after he was allegedly found inebriated inside of his parked vehicle.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting that a vehicle was seen speeding down the street before parking in front of the courthouse where the driver remained inside of the car.

A sheriff’s deputy went to the location and found a vehicle fitting the description given in the call. When he approached the car he noted that the person in the driver’s seat was asleep. Upon waking him the man was identified as Michael Ovdiyenko.

A man who is facing charges for DUI and felony hit-and-run after an alleged accident involving injury to the victim will learn if the charges against him will result in a trial after a settlement conference takes place in December.

39-year-old Randy Lee Miller from Cathedral City was reportedly driving his Volkswagen through Palm Springs early in the morning on September 11.

Miller, who was on his way home, allegedly hit a man identified as Jared Wright with his vehicle and did not stop traveling. Wright, who was reportedly on the roof of Miller’s car remained there for the next two miles as Miller made his way back to his house.

A mother who was driving with her three children on Saturday night collided with an object and when the police responded they alleged that the woman caused the mishap because she was operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

28-year-old Kianna Monique Pugh was driving in downtown Modesto, just over an hour from Sacramento, late in the evening on Saturday with her three children as passengers in the back seat.

Pugh was reportedly involved in a small accident around 11:30 pm when the vehicle she was operating made an impact with a fixture.

A man and his son who had been drinking together got into an argument leading to the father alleging that his son had assaulted and bit him during the incident.

21-year-old Jason Eugene Radginski and his father had been drinking alcohol together when things allegedly became aggressive in nature due to a disagreement about Radginski’s mom.

According to the statement given by the alleged victim, Radginski reportedly got physical with his dad by punching him and using his elbow to hit him, as well as biting him in several places.

A man from Virginia is facing charges after a Florida officer allegedly found him napping in his underpants inside his vehicle, which reportedly contained marijuana, on the side of the Interstate.

Just before midnight on September 14, a Highway Patrol officer saw a car parked on the side of the road on Interstate 95 with the emergency flashers turned on.

As the officer approached the vehicle it was reported that the man inside was asleep and wearing nothing but a pair of underwear.

Just after 1:30 am on Sunday, a man and his female passenger had been in attendance at a wedding where he had been drinking, and following the event, he was reportedly driving them home.

An officer that was on patrol in the area that the man, 27-year-old Allan Pineda, was driving reported seeing the vehicle being driven erratically, and on the wrong side of the road in the direction of oncoming traffic. He also alleged that the car had hit the curb more than once.

Pineda was pulled over and when the police officer questioned him he allegedly said that he had attended a wedding where he had been drinking. The 20-year-old woman with Pineda was also allegedly intoxicated. Pineda reportedly told the officer that even though he was under the influence of alcohol his passenger was even drunker, so he was doing a good thing when deciding he would be the driver.

A motorist traveling down the interstate at an alleged high speed made an impact with the back of a travel trailer containing two horses, and one of the horses was hurt in the accident. The driver who allegedly caused the crash is suspected of having been under the influence of alcohol when the incident occurred.

On Saturday, in the pre-dawn hours, a man was traveling down the Interstate while transporting two horses to Texas. Around 2:30 am a vehicle crashed into the back of the trailer carrying the horses and destroyed the rear door.

One of the horses being transported, an 800-pound Appaloosa named Oliver, was flung around the inside of the trailer with force during the accident and he became free of his safety harness allowing him to exit the trailer. The animal was bleeding from his back leg, but he began to trot down the road a bit before the driver caught him and created a makeshift compression bandage to try to attend to the injury until emergency medical help arrived.

On Friday morning the freshman wide receiver for the Washington State University Cougars football team was arrested on suspicion of a baby DUI charge.

19-year-old Rodrick Fisher was seen by an officer while he was allegedly driving the wrong direction on a one-way street just before 12:30 am on August 24.

The officer pulled Fisher over and performed breathalyzer tests to determine his blood alcohol content. The first reportedly yielded a result of .076 percent, and the second displayed .078 percent.
