A man who claimed he was making a Netflix movie in Hollywood has been accused of bilking $14 million out of the people he allegedly convinced to foot the bill for the false film.

Manhattan Beach, California, resident Adam Joiner ran a company called Dark Planet Pictures, LLC.

A few years ago, Joiner reportedly decided he wanted to work on a movie project for a 19th Century period piece casting famous Hollywood actors in the roles and gave it the preliminary title of “Legends.”

According to the attorney working for a Washington City Councilman who has been charged with his fourth DUI, the charge will be viewed as a first-time offense.

On Monday afternoon, 42-year-old Matthew Staniszewski, a Washington City Councilman, was allegedly found behind the wheel of his Honda that was reportedly idle and askew on the side of the road in a position that was blocking oncoming traffic.

An officer approached the vehicle and reported that empty miniature bottles of liquor were laying on the floor of the car, and Staniszewski allegedly appeared rather disoriented.

A 36-year-old woman went shopping at a Walmart in Iowa on Saturday, where she was allegedly followed by a man riding on an electric cart while he reportedly began publicly sexually pleasuring himself.

65-year-old Gary Sheriff from Marion County allegedly decided to spend part of the weekend cruising around Walmart on one of the motorized carts made available for their shoppers.

While he was in the store, Sheriff allegedly became fixated on a female shopper and used the motorized device to chase after her as she navigated the store.

On August 18, a woman allegedly approached an Uber driver and tore his flesh with her teeth after destroying part of his vehicle.

Uber driver Yasser Hadi picked up a passenger in his Toyota Prius and went to the requested destination in the Westside area of Atlanta.

After his fare got out of the car Hadi reported that a woman ran up to him and began behaving in a wild manner.

A man who left his truck parked and unattended while he allegedly robbed a store returned to his vehicle to find that it was in the midst of being stolen.

Washington resident William Kelley left his Chevy pickup truck parked in a near-empty lot in Kennewick early in the morning on August 25, and he left the keys inside on the seat.

42-year-old Kelley walked out of the parking lot for a bit, and upon his return, he saw someone placing a bicycle in the bed of his vehicle before climbing into the driver’s seat.

A Ventura, California, born man who now resides in Florida allegedly used a machete to make his point to a guest when they argued about a toilet that hadn’t been flushed after being used.

On the evening of August 24, a guest was visiting the Hudson home of 46-year-old Keith Mounts.

While at the house the guest and Mounts had both reportedly used the restroom, but one of the men failed to flush after finishing.

The Oregon mother of a 13-year-old girl with cancer is struggling to fight the state for charges against her, and for placing her daughter in the foster system, for deciding to treat the disease homeopathically after she believed traditional medical treatment nearly killed the teen.

Kylee Dixon is the now 13-year-old daughter of Christina Dixon.

In February 2018, Kylee, who was then 11, complained of horrible stomach pain and she was taken to the emergency room for assessment.

When a man brought his broken laptop to Best Buy for service last August, the technicians working with the files on the machine believed he was storing pictures depicting sexual content containing very young children and reported him to the authorities.

Des Moines resident Robert Leo Watson found that his laptop was no longer functioning after he had a mishap and spilled gravy on the keyboard of the electronic device.

On August 11, 2018, Watson reportedly went to the local Best Buy and bought a new computer to replace the one he had rendered defective. While he was there 54-year-old Watson reportedly decided he would pay the Geek Squad a fee to have the information stored on the old machine moved to the new one.

A man who was the alleged victim of domestic violence accused his girlfriend of attacking him with the gusto and style of professional wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin.

On August 17, the St. Lucie Sheriff’s Office sent deputies to a home with a reported domestic disturbance taking place. When they arrived, deputies found 23-year-old Chastity Bodnar and her 26-year-old boyfriend Coty Lee Havens inside the dwelling.

While collecting a statement from Havens about what had taken place, the man said he and his girlfriend had gotten into an argument when he offered her unsolicited advice by telling her that she consumes alcohol in excess.

A Sumpter County woman accused of driving under the influence of alcohol allegedly tried to get an officer to place a 25-cent bet on the elevated the level her breathalyzer test would display after she blew into the machine.

On August 19, 62-year-old Mary Westerlund was reportedly sitting in her vehicle near her residence in The Villages retirement community in central Florida.

A passerby spotted the woman in her Acura and they thought she appeared to be intoxicated. The Sumpter County police were notified to report the incident.
