A Utah woman was charged after the authorities said she forcibly took an 11-year-old boy from a neighborhood street and brought him to her home over an alleged bullying dispute involving her children.

According to court documents obtained by local media, the incident occurred in September 2025 in a Provo neighborhood. Investigators said the woman had been driving through the area looking for the boy, who she believed had been bullying one of her children.

The affidavit stated that the woman allegedly located the boy while he was riding his bike, blocked his path with her vehicle, and made him get inside. The boy was then allegedly taken to her home without permission from his parents.

Four people are facing charges after the authorities caught wind of a video posted on social media showing them playing with a child, and asserted that the youngster could be in danger based on the perceived roughness of the interaction.

At the end of May, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was notified by a concerned citizen who said they had seen a video on Snapchat depicting two men roughly handling a child.

After opening an investigation regarding the situation, the authorities reported that they discovered the video was also posted on Facebook.

The mother of a boy who was reportedly relentlessly bullied at school allegedly made a video issuing threats to warn the children involved in tormenting her child that she would harm them if they did not stop.

Gainesville resident Cirea Oliver is a 29-year-old mother with an 11-year-old son.

Recently, Oliver reported that her son has been the target of bullies at Gainesville Middle School where he attends. The concerned mother reportedly approached the school about the situation, but they did not appear to take care of the matter in a way that relieved Oliver’s son of the alleged harassment.

A mother from Mission Viejo is facing legal consequences after she reportedly went in a middle school classroom with a stack of handmade “Free A$$ Kicking” coupons after she became upset by bullies harassing her daughter.

33-year-old Christian Tinsley is the mother of a 13-year-old girl who attends Niguel Hills Middle School in Laguna Niguel.

Tinsley’s daughter had been telling her that she was being tormented at school, on her way to and from the campus and on the internet, and predominantly from boys who attend class with her. The mockery was said to often be aimed at the young black girl’s ethnicity.

The mother of a student was arrested last month when she went to her son’s school and allegedly lashed out at children for their bullying behavior.

Jamie Rathburn has a son who attends Greenbrier Elementary School in the Greenville County School District.

The communications director at the district confirmed that nearly 1,900 reports regarding bullying in the 91 schools in the district have been received over the past three years.
