A 22-year-old TikTok influencer is facing charges after posting a video showing her wearing items the authorities believe she stole from Target.

On October 30 in Cape Coral, Florida, a woman went to a Target store for a shopping trip. After collecting her items, she went to the self-checkout to ring up and pay for the purchase. According to reports, the woman had sixteen pieces of merchandise with an approximate total value of $500 but paid much less by scanning a fake barcode instead of the ones on the items. Loss prevention noticed the allegedly illegal transaction and notified the authorities.

The police asked the public for help locating the woman in a post they made that included pictures of her. When one of the influencer’s 300,000+ TikTok followers saw the photos of the suspect that the Cape Coral Police Department posted on social media, they came forward anonymously and gave the authorities her Instagram information. It was reported that when they checked out the account, they determined she was the person they were looking for when they saw her wearing what was believed to be some of the allegedly stolen merchandise. She also reportedly included video clips depicting her walking around the store with merchandise in her cart before stealing it and putting the goods in her trunk.

A woman is facing charges after allegedly using a child to help her steal over $1,000 worth of items from a local Target store.

On October 11, a woman with a youngster in tow went to Target in Cape Coral, Florida. According to reports, she filled her cart with large items including a vacuum cleaner and a barista-style coffee machine. When she was finished, the woman allegedly failed to pay for the merchandise and walked out of the store a few moments after the child, who was pushing the cart. Employees reportedly saw the incident and informed loss prevention.

Surveillance video from the time of the alleged theft was searched, and after they believed they saw footage of the robbery as it took place, the Cape Coral Police Department was notified. They opened an investigation, and they passed around an image of the suspect so additional officers could keep an eye out for her.

A Florida man is facing multiple charges when he was reportedly caught in a residential backyard after allegedly wandering onto the property and stealing a decorative garden turtle.

Just after midnight on August 2, a resident was asleep in their Southwest Cape Coral home when strange noises on their lanai caused them to wake up. They immediately looked outside to see if they could determine the source of the sounds. While scanning the landscape of their yard, they reportedly noticed what appeared to be a bearded man hanging out in their swimming pool cage.

The homeowner called the authorities and let them know about the purported trespasser, who appeared to have several tattoos, a beard, and was wearing a pair of shorts. Officers from the Cape Coral Police Department rushed to the address to investigate.

A Florida man was arrested when he reportedly caused a scene at a liquor store, hit a maintenance worker, and headbutted a police officer after an alleged drunken hit-and-run.

On June 16, a Cape Coral man went to a local liquor store to purchase a small bottle of Fireball. While he was there, the man was polite and even engaged in conversation with another patron. He paid the cashier and left the store but came back about a half hour later.

According to an employee, when the man walked in the second time, he seemed intoxicated. He tried to buy more alcohol, but the clerk would not sell it to him. The man reportedly became verbally combative, and allegedly spit on the worker before exiting the store.

A Florida man donning a pair of underwear around his neck may face criminal charges after he was reportedly found wandering around in an area where two bonsai trees worth $7,000 had recently been stolen.

According to reports, a few weeks ago, someone swiped both trees from a home on a residential street in Cape Coral. Late in the evening on January 11, neighbors on the same block noticed a man on the property from which the trees were taken. There were additional bonsais at the residence, and it raised their suspicions when they spotted the alleged interloper.

One of the neighbors notified the authorities by phone, and when describing the man, they said he was wearing all dark clothing with a dark mask covering his face.

A Cape Coral, Florida man has been held accountable after he allegedly viciously beat a woman who is 6-months pregnant for the belief that she is currently infected with the novel Coronavirus.

Last Monday evening, Cape Coral police were in the midst of responding to a possible domestic violence incident at an apartment complex after receiving notification from a concerned citizen.

As one of the officers made their way toward the apartment in question, it was reported that he could hear a woman yelling in a manner that led to the belief that she was in distress.
