The authorities reported that a 14-year-old boy may face charges after allegedly driving under the influence and leading them on a chase which ended when he hid inside of an outdoor freezer.

On June 28, an officer from the Kent Police Department was patrolling when they reportedly saw a vehicle that was driven through the intersection without stopping at the posted road sign. It was also asserted that the car was being operated erratically, and the officer decided to perform a traffic stop. The driver reportedly ignored it, and when he came to a red light he allegedly failed to stop. The officer trailed behind the vehicle and watched the driver hit a curb and allegedly run another red light. According to reports, the driver kept going despite one of the tires falling off the car, but he slammed into a second curb and could not continue.

The driver immediately got out and ran away from the police, and officers pursued him on foot. The King County Sheriff’s Office also assisted by air with a helicopter, and they were able to keep an eye on the suspect as he headed through the yards of nearby properties. He spotted a freezer that opened from the top, and the authorities reported that he climbed inside.

A man in Florida was arrested at Leesburg Bikefest after allegedly driving a three-wheeler while under the influence of alcohol.

Last Friday, just before midnight, a 64-year-old man was driving a Slingshot “autocycle” in the vicinity of the Leesburg Bikefest. Two officers were walking in the area and saw the vehicle as the man was turning a corner. He allegedly struck the curb and then stopped in the street, and the police asserted that he took the turn too widely.

According to reports, they walked up to talk to the driver, who had a passenger with him, and they learned he was staying in The Villages. He reportedly said he was lost and momentarily lost control of the vehicle. While he was talking to them, the police believed he displayed signs of intoxication.

An Indiana man allegedly bragged to an officer about how fast he was driving after he reportedly forced several police agencies to chase him as he sped through traffic.

On the afternoon of March 23, a 20-year-old man from Fishers was driving a Mustang through Daleville. He was allegedly going much faster than the 55 MPH posted speed limit and caught the attention of an on-duty officer from the Daleville Police Department. The officer reported that the man was driving close to 85 MPH when he began to chase after him.

It was reported that when the driver noticed he was being pursued by the officer, he sped up instead of pulling over. The officer reported that at times the vehicle was clocked at over 100 MPH. He also alleged that the driver was operating the Mustang in an unsafe manner, and nearly caused several accidents on the road. He reportedly drove into oncoming traffic while allegedly fleeing.

An 18-year-old wanted for armed robbery in Mississippi was caught in Indiana while allegedly speeding and driving under the influence.

Early in the morning on September 4, a man was driving in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, when the police noticed he was swerving on the road and going twice the 30 MPH posted speed limit. While he allegedly strayed in and out of his lane, he reportedly almost caused an accident with another vehicle and struck a curb.

The police performed a traffic stop, and when they interacted with the driver, they reported that they saw an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle. They also believed he was intoxicated.

An Illinois elected school board official was arrested in the first hour of the new year for allegations of driving under the influence of alcohol. 

At approximately 1:00 am on New Year’s Day, the authorities performed a traffic stop on the driver of a Toyota Highlander whose vehicle struck a curb. 

When the driver pulled over, the police said she did not immediately give them her license, and it was believed that she was drunk.

A middle school bus driver suspected of drinking and driving was taken into custody after he got into an accident while transporting children. 

On December 13, one of the bus drivers from Woodland Community School District 50 in Lake County, Illinois, was driving with seven school children in the vehicle.  

It was reported that when the driver turned a corner, he lost control of the bus and went over the curb. The bus also struck a brick mailbox.

After reportedly refusing to cooperate with the authorities, an allegedly belligerent drunk man was arrested.

43-year-old Robert Francis Croteau resides in Boca Raton, Florida.

Early in the morning on April 27, Croteau was reportedly driving in a manner that caught the attention of a Florida Fish and Wildlife officer.

When an elderly Florida man was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol while operating a golf cart, he allegedly told the police that he got drunk after becoming frustrated while tuning in as President Donald Trump was giving a live televised speech.

On July 30, President Trump delivered a speech covering topics such as COVID-19 response, the recent passing of former presidential candidate Herman Cain, and the use of mail-in-ballots in the November election.

82-year-old Cary De Van, a resident of The Villages in central Florida, was reportedly watching as Trump spoke to the public.

Just after 1:30 am on Sunday, a man and his female passenger had been in attendance at a wedding where he had been drinking, and following the event, he was reportedly driving them home.

An officer that was on patrol in the area that the man, 27-year-old Allan Pineda, was driving reported seeing the vehicle being driven erratically, and on the wrong side of the road in the direction of oncoming traffic. He also alleged that the car had hit the curb more than once.

Pineda was pulled over and when the police officer questioned him he allegedly said that he had attended a wedding where he had been drinking. The 20-year-old woman with Pineda was also allegedly intoxicated. Pineda reportedly told the officer that even though he was under the influence of alcohol his passenger was even drunker, so he was doing a good thing when deciding he would be the driver.

University of Arkansas Razorbacks freshman quarterback Cole Kelly was accused of reckless driving, and driving while intoxicated on Sunday.

In the early morning hours of November 12, Kelly was driving in his Toyota Tundra when a nearby officer spotted him as he made impact with a curb. When the vehicle struck the barrier both passenger wheels allegedly lifted off the street onto the curb, and Kelly continued driving.

The officer at the scene who reported that he had witnessed the vehicle hitting the curb responded by pulling Kelly over. He stated that when he approached and greeted Kelly he noticed that his eyes were watery and bloodshot.
