When a 15-year-old who said she was going on a church retreat failed to return home, she was found in a Florida vacation rental home with an armed felon.

In mid-July, a 15-year-old girl from Dilley, Texas booked a flight to Ft. Meyers after informing her parents that she would be attending an all-inclusive church retreat in the Sunshine state.

According to the young woman’s friends, they believed she had been talking to a man using social media.

A woman on an airplane reportedly refused to wear a face mask and allegedly became unruly by fighting with the authorities and spitting on passengers.

Last week, 23-year-old Adelaide Gabrielle Schrowang was taking a trip out of Southwest Florida International Airport.

The woman boarded the Delta Airlines aircraft and took her seat amongst the other passengers, but she was not wearing a face mask.

A man from California who was convicted of rape reportedly failed to register as a sex offender and spent 21-years hiding from the authorities under an assumed name in Florida.

In 1989, 53-year-old David Swenson was convicted of a forcible rape charge in Santa Clarita County. He was incarcerated until 1993, and when he was released he was ordered to register as a sex offender.

In 2000, the authorities reportedly noticed that Swenson had not registered, and a warrant for his arrest was issued.

A Florida woman is facing felony charges after allegedly using racist language and pelting a fast-food employee with a hamburger over the amount of tomato on her sandwich.

On the evening of April 30, 77-year-old Judith Black reportedly visited Burger King in Wildwood.

The woman asked for a Whopper with her order, and when she was given her food she reportedly looked at the burger and became disgruntled over the size of the tomato slices.

A Colorado man was arrested after the police alleged that he was pleasuring himself in the view of patrons in a Florida Walmart parking.

On the afternoon of February 17, a woman was parking her car so she could shop at the Walmart in Vero Beach.

As she got out of the car, she reportedly saw a man seated in a Kia parked next to her. When she walked past the car, the woman said she saw the man sexually touching himself.

The assistant manager of a Florida Circle K store was accused of swiping winning scratch-off lottery tickets worth thousands of dollars when they were reported missing from the store’s inventory.

37-year-old Richard Dawayne Fonville lives in Hilliard, Florida. He is employed as an assistant manager at a Circle K convenience store in Jacksonville, approximately 30-miles from his home.

Around Christmastime, the manager was needed at a different Circle K location and Fonville took over her duties during her absence from the site.

A former deputy who worked for a Florida middle school is facing felony charges for alleged abuse after his ex-wife and current spouse reported him, asserting that they saw him hurt his child and that they were mistreated by the man.

Timothy Crane resides on the West Central Florida coast.

Crane has a 3-year-old son with his former wife, Samantha Crane, and he is currently married to Michelle Frome.

A woman who was employed by the Villages Daily Sun has been accused of pilfering fraudulent commissions from the company. Several staff members including upper-level executives of the outlet are scheduled for depositions this week.

The Villages Daily Sun in Florida states that it is a part of a media group, and they are the “oldest, largest, and most trusted source of news and information for residents of The Villages community.”

Bellview resident Grace Mimm worked as a sales manager at the Daily Sun for many years. One of her duties was recruiting new customers for the paper, for which she was paid commissions.

A Florida man employed by an online company that offers their customers by-the-hour service of a skilled captain for their personal boats has been accused of DUI while operating a client’s vessel.

A boat owner seeking a captain to take him and his guests to the yearly Gasparilla invasion festival found what he was looking for on AnchorRides.com. This service provides “on demand” booking for captains to operate personal boats for a fee of $50 an hour, and matches clients with personnel based on location.

24-year-old Nathan Stasio was hired for an 8-hour period to provide captain services on the man’s boat during the historical Tampa, Florida, pirate-themed event for the man and his guests.

A man who was reportedly seeking revenge on a woman that no longer wanted to continue a relationship with him was arrested after he allegedly distributed erotic pictures of her to her employer.

Seminole County, Florida, resident Giuseppe Garibaldi made the acquaintance of a woman who works as a preschool teacher that he connected with through an online dating site. After meeting in person in November they began spending time together as friends. Though they did not have an established romantic relationship they engaged in sexual acts approximately five times.

Both amidst having sex, and also during the time that the woman was asleep, Garibaldi is accused of taking photographs of the victim after their second intimate tryst without her knowledge. He used the pictures to intimidate the victim by threatening to share them with others when he became jealous from the belief that she was dating other men.
