A Tennessee woman was arrested after allegedly walking up to a vehicle in the drive-thru at McDonald’s and stabbing the driver in the face with a screwdriver.
Late in the afternoon on November 20, a customer was in the drive-thru giving her order to an employee at a McDonald’s in South Memphis when a woman she didn’t know walked up to her car. They asked her if she could give them money, and the driver explained that she did not have any cash. According to reports, her answer incurred anger, profanity, and violence from the solicitor. The woman allegedly pulled out a screwdriver and used it to stab her in the face.
The authorities were notified, and officers from the Memphis Police Department went to the restaurant to investigate. The fire department was also dispatched to the scene to provide medical treatment as needed. The woman had already left before the officers arrived, but they spotted a female running down the street and believed it was the suspect. She did not stop running, and when they chased her down, she reportedly kicked and pushed the officers.
