A Texas man reportedly posing as a sports representative for an NBA player visited a Tiffany & Co. store in Florida and allegedly swallowed over $750,000 worth of jewelry in a purported attempt to steal the high-priced merchandise.

On February 26, a man visited a Tiffany and Co. store in Orlando and reportedly introduced himself as a representative for an Orlando Magic basketball player. It was reported that the man said he was sent by the player to buy two pairs of earrings and a ring. After pointing out the desired $1,356,500 worth of jewelry, the man was taken to a private VIP room to view the pricy pieces. After they were placed in front of him, the man allegedly snatched them off the table and tried to leave the room. An employee was able to block him before he got the door open, but he allegedly used physical force to get past them.

The authorities were notified, and the employees reported that the ring was dropped, but the suspect escaped with 4.86-carat diamond earrings worth $160,000, and 8.19-carat diamond solitaire earrings with a value of $609,500. Surveillance video was reviewed, and the vehicle the suspect left in was seen in the footage. A few hours later, Florida Highway Patrol pulled over an SUV for a traffic violation, and it matched the description of the vehicle the alleged jewelry thief was driving. It was reported that the price tags from the earrings were found inside the SUV, and he was arrested. When he was in the police vehicle, the officers reportedly saw him swallow what they believed were the stolen goods. A live scan of his body showed what looked like earrings in his stomach.

A Florida man might be permanently disfigured after an encounter with a woman in a 7-Eleven reportedly turned violent and she allegedly hit him in the face with a can of Pringles.

On March 6, a 28-year-old woman was at the checkout counter inside a 7-Eleven in Orlando when a man, who had reportedly been accosted by another man in the parking lot, walked in and approached her. Their interaction reportedly led to an altercation involving the woman allegedly striking him in the face with a Pringles can. She fled from the store, and the man, who was bleeding from a deep wound under one of his eyes, waited for the authorities to arrive.

Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office went to the location to investigate, and collected a statement about the incident from the alleged victim. He told them he was waiting in line to pay for his item, and when the woman moved aside, he asked her if she was acquainted with the man who approached him in the parking lot. She allegedly responded by whacking him above his eye with the potato chip can before she ran off. The deputy noted the man’s injuries. A store clerk was questioned, and their account of the events was similar. Since the suspect was no longer in the store, the deputy left. Shortly after, she was found nearby.

A man is facing multiple charges after allegedly attacking two women in a Catholic school parking lot during a dispute over a handicapped parking spot.

On September 25, a physically disabled woman and her 22-year-old daughter went to the school at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Orlando to pick up her 5-year-old granddaughter. The woman parked in a handicapped spot near the front of the school, and her daughter went inside to retrieve the child. When the family was getting ready to pull away, an individual in a truck drove up and blocked their path.

It was reported that a 65-year-old man was driving the truck, and he allegedly began yelling at the women for parking in the handicapped spot. He reportedly showed them his parking sticker and accused them of wrongfully taking the space. The disabled woman held up her placard to try to ensure the man she had the permit. He allegedly accused them of trying to use it for a different vehicle than the one it was assigned to and said they had to stay until security handled the issue.

Michael Jordan’s son Marcus was arrested for cocaine possession and driving under the influence after he got his SUV stuck on a set of railroad tracks while reportedly trying to escape from the police.

34-year-old Marcus Jordan, son of Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, used to play basketball at the University of Central Florida and appeared on the TV shows “The Real Housewives of Miami” and “Traitors.” According to reports, he also owns the Orlando-based “Trophy Room” boutique.

Early last week, Jordan went out for the evening and allegedly had a few drinks while visiting establishments in Winter Park and Casselberry. Just after 1:00 AM, the man was driving with a passenger when a Seminole County sheriff’s deputy tried to pull him over. He reportedly failed to stop and was able to escape for a short time, but his vehicle was disabled when he got stuck on a set of railroad tracks.

Two people arguing on a flight out of Orlando were arrested after passengers reported that they overheard them talking about a bomb and weapons, and the plane was forced to land.

On December 5, a couple at the airport in Orlando, Florida, got into an argument just before boarding a Breeze Airlines flight to Providence, Rhode Island. The verbal dispute was reportedly still going strong when the pair got on the plane.

According to reports, the man threatened to tell people that the woman was carrying a bomb in her bag. The woman reportedly responded by threatening to inform them that he had weapons. Other passengers seated nearby reported they became nervous upon hearing the word “bomb.” One man asked a flight attendant to allow him and his daughter to move their seats away from the couple because of it.

A Florida man in a surgical mask was caught by the police following a near-getaway after allegedly stealing thousands of pills in an alleged armed robbery of a pharmacy.

At approximately 6:00 p.m. on October 20, a man wearing a surgical mask and a hat walked into a CVS Pharmacy in Orlando.

He reportedly approached the clerk at the counter and handed them a note. The writing on the piece of paper allegedly said to give him all bottles of Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Xanax, Adderall, Liquid codeine/promethazine, and Viagra they had in stock. The note reportedly specified that he would shoot the person closest to him if the pharmacy workers did not meet his demands. He added that after they filled a bag with the medications and the note, they were to lay on the ground, or he would shoot.

A Florida man standing outside a convenience store was accused of smoking illegal narcotics in front of the establishment.

According to reports, on April 4, a call to the authorities was placed by someone at a 7-Eleven in Orlando. They reported that a man was trespassing on the property, and they said he was behaving in a way that caused them to believe he had been using narcotics. They additionally said he appeared to be smoking something that they assumed was drugs, and that he was also there the previous day.

Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office went to the location, and when they arrived, they reported that the man was still on the premises.

A Florida man allegedly dragged a deputy who was hanging onto his car across a parking lot while in the middle of leading the authorities on a high-speed chase through two states.  

Late in the evening on April 6, a man from Orlando was reportedly driving in Portsmouth, New Hampshire when officers tried to perform a traffic stop. The driver reportedly sped away, and the state police were notified.  

According to reports, the man drove to a nearby Shell gas station to fuel his vehicle. The New Hampshire State Police saw the suspect and tried to interact with him, but he allegedly drove off as soon as they approached.

A man in Florida was arrested for many charges after being accused of sexually assaulting women at gunpoint while they were standing at bus stops. 

Early in the morning on New Year’s Day, a woman was waiting at a bus stop in Orlando when she was reportedly approached by a stranger wearing a mask. She was allegedly assaulted by the man. 

At approximately 6:00 AM on February 2, a woman at a different Orlando bus stop reported that a man she did not know walked up to her with a firearm. He allegedly told her to give him her money before he sexually assaulted her.

A Florida man is facing several charges after he reportedly went on a crime spree involving having sexual intercourse with a dog, destroying a nativity scene at a church, and attempting to steal a vehicle. 

On December 4, a 36-year-old man from Orlando took his friend’s dog for a walk, and while they were out, he allegedly had sexual intercourse with the canine. 

People in the apartment complex, including a juvenile, reportedly saw the man in action, and one of them approached him.
