A northwestern Florida woman was jailed after allegedly leaving her toddler alone on a playground in extreme heat while she went to work a shift at a nearby shopping center.

The Silver Sands Premium Outlets in Miramar Beach is home to over 100 stores. A park is located on the premises, providing patrons with a place to spend time with their children while taking breaks during their shopping excursions. Early in the afternoon on June 15, someone in the vicinity of the playground spotted a youngster who was later revealed to be 3 years old playing on the park equipment. The boy was reportedly there for nearly an hour before he wandered away from the park. The individual who had seen him earlier thought the child was going to run into the street, so they intervened and stopped the toddler before he reached the road. When the person tried and failed to find an adult responsible for the youngster, they located a security officer and explained the situation to her.

Just after 1:00 PM, the authorities were notified, and deputies from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office went to Silver Sands to investigate. According to the police report, someone saw the man as he grabbed the child to keep him from running into traffic. When the toddler’s mother arrived, she informed the deputies that she was employed at a fragrance store in the outlet mall. She had to go to work, and she said she kept an eye on the boy and arranged for a friend to pick him up.

A Florida woman was arrested after she was reported for allegedly leaving her 5-year-old by himself in the park because he was misbehaving.

On January 11, a woman and her son were spending time together at Flamingo Park in Miami Beach when she allegedly walked away from the 5-year-old boy. People in the area noticed the child was at the playground by himself, and after approximately 20 minutes, the authorities were notified about the situation. When they arrived, the officers talked to some of the alleged witnesses. A few people mentioned that they watched as the boy’s mother left in a car with a man, and it was believed that she was intoxicated. It was also asserted that the woman threw her handbag in the bushes on the main street alongside the park. According to reports, when they talked to the youngster, he told the police that it was not the first time his mom had left him there. He reportedly said she does it as a form of punishment when he misbehaves. The officers also reported that he told them he did not know where his mother went.

During their investigation, the police found a purse in the bushes, and they presumed it belonged to the woman. When they looked inside, they found pot and pills.

When an officer reportedly encountered two men in the middle of a sexual encounter in a St. Petersburg park they were both placed under arrest for the alleged public display.

Just before 10:30 pm on June 30, an officer with the St. Petersburg Police Department was in Unity Park.

According to the city Parks and Recreation site, the small recreational area features “a great neighborhood playground for St. Petersburg’s younger residents.”

A registered sex offender in Missouri was taken into custody when it was reportedly discovered that he was working as a ride operator at a local festival.

55-year-old Victor Allen Jacobs resides in Moberly, Missouri.

According to court documents, Jacobs was convicted of rape in 2001, and when he was released from prison he was ordered to register as a sex offender.

A man and woman who were allegedly drinking in a Florida park were apprehended after they reportedly engaged in sexual behavior inside the playground equipment tunnel.

In the morning on June 4, 52-year-old Sharon Finlay and her boyfriend, Germain Loen Jackson, 44, were reportedly hanging out at Pocahontas Park in Vero Beach, Florida. The couple was allegedly drinking vodka and malt beverages on the playground.

The pair reportedly crawled into the tunnel attached to the jungle gym and started to get sexually intimate with each other in public.

The authorities have reported that they ended a months-long search for a stolen playground slide after discovering it inside the bedroom of a Burbank mobile home.

Last December, the authorities were told that a slide from Tierra Vida Park in Pascoe, Washington, had disappeared from its place in the playground. The weight of the large piece of equipment was an estimated 400-pounds.

The police search was fruitless until the end of February.

A Canton, Michigan, 10-year-old boy has been accused of aggravated assault after another child was injured on the playground while they were playing ball together.

At the end of April, two boys were playing ball on the school campus at Ruth Eriksson Elementary School. The game they were taking part in was reportedly similar to dodgeball, but the ball is thrown into the air instead of aiming for the opponents.

While the boys tossed the ball, it accidentally hit one of them in the face causing him to sustain a black eye and bruising from the impact.

After allegedly being caught while engaging in a sexual act together inside of a vehicle parked next to a playground, two Catholic priests are facing charges.

Just before 3:30 pm on September 4, a Volkswagen containing two men was reportedly parked on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach next to a park near the playground.

Due to the popularity of the location, there were several people in the area, and someone believed that they saw the men inside the vehicle partaking in oral sex and a call was placed to report it to the police.

According to news reports a 24 year old man named William A Bates Jr., of Kansas City is charged with first degree attempted sodomy and attempted statutory sodomy with a person under 12.

At Kemp playground a two year old was playing on a swing when her mother noticed Bates allegedly “eyeballing her children.” The mother told police that Bates then approached her daughter and grabbed her off the swing before allegedly grabbing the girl by the hips and pulling down her diaper. The mother said that she saw Bates lift his shirt and pull down his pants, to which then he started thrusting against her daughter.

Reportedly the police say she ran after Bates, knocking him to the ground, and while he was down she was attacking him with her fists. Bates eventually freed himself and ran from the park, but the mother ran to a nearby homeless shelter and called the police. Officers arrested Bates near the playground.
