The deputy chief at the Denver Fire Department has resigned from his position after being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. 

Jeremy Vigil was named deputy chief of the Denver Fire Department in 2020. 

Early in the morning on January 29, Vigil and his girlfriend reportedly got into an argument in her home.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith reportedly insulted and threatened to assault officers as he was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence. 

31-year-old Geno Smith plays for the Seattle Seahawks, and he is currently a free agent. He has also played for the New York Jets, New York Giants, and Los Angeles Chargers during his career in professional football, which began in 2013. 

Around 2:00 am on January 10, Smith was reportedly driving his Rolls Royce in King County, Washington.

Following his arrest, a police sergeant accused of fleeing the scene of a DUI accident he allegedly caused resigned from his position with the department. 

40-year-old Christopher Cowan was a sergeant with the Shepherdsville Police Department. 

Late in the evening on November 27, Cowan was reportedly driving his black truck near the Corbin Speedway in Whitley County.

A 2-year-old was found unharnessed and hidden under a large amount of garbage in his grandmother’s truck when she was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Last Sunday evening, 51-year-old Claudia Patterson, who has several prior infractions for driving under the influence of alcohol, was reportedly driving her truck in Memphis with her young grandson in the vehicle.

An officer with the Memphis Police Department was en route to the scene of an incident when they saw Patterson’s truck and asserted the driver was speeding and maneuvering the vehicle unsafely.

A woman is facing several felony charges after she alleged sped through a site set up for distributing the COVID vaccine and almost hit many workers.

On the morning of May 24, the parking lot at the Foothills Mall in Maryville, Tennessee, was one of the local sites people could go for a COVID vaccine. A tent for distribution of the injections, in addition to directional cones for traffic, was set up at the location.

Around 9:00 am, several people were inside the tent, including members of the National Guard and healthcare workers. A speeding vehicle was reportedly spotted by a deputy.

After an allegedly drunk driver crashed her car and was taken into custody, she reportedly warned that she had a bomb and threatened to detonate it.

The Atlanta rap artist “Silentó” was jailed and charged after allegedly driving more than double the posted speed limit on the Interstate.

22-year-old Richard Lamar “Ricky” Hawk is a rapper and singer who goes by the professional names “Silentó” and “Prince Silento.”

Hawk’s 2015 hit song “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae),” was number 3 on the 2015 Billboard US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. This summer, the video, which features the popular dances named in the title, hit over 1.7 billion views on YouTube.

Four women are facing charges after they allegedly skipped out on paying their restaurant check when they asserted the restaurant served them undercooked.

A group of 18-year-old’s later identified as Savanna Brown, Onastea Tompkins, Angel Lovell, and Kiarra Warren reportedly decided to head to a restaurant for a meal in the early morning hours.

The women went to Denny’s restaurant located on U.S. Highway 20 in Portage, Indiana.
