The former facility director of a Georgia daycare was arrested for allegedly physically abusing a 4-year-old who was left in her care.

The Sunshine Child Learning Center is a daycare facility in Snellville. The director of the facility was, until recently, a 67-year-old woman who began working there in 2019.

On September 8, an incident reportedly occurred between the director and a 4-year-old child who had been coming to the center for 3 years. According to reports, the child was on the floor when the woman allegedly struck him several times in the head. She allegedly picked him up off the floor and shook him violently before tossing him back onto the ground.

A Florida man is facing several charges after a social media post claiming he had a new Mercedes caught the attention of the authorities and connected him to a series of theft crimes in Deltona.

Last weekend, the authorities reported that a string of car burglaries had taken place around the Deltona area. Surveillance videos collected from the scenes reportedly showed that the suspects were two individuals in masks and gloves.

One of the vehicles allegedly taken was a Mercedes. Surveillance footage from a nearby gas station showed a male driver with tattoos on his neck and face, and the authorities were able to use the information to identify the suspect.

A man with a prior criminal case in April regarding sexual activity with a horse was arrested again when he was allegedly recently found near two horses with his genitals exposed. 

On April 28, the man was caught at a home in Melrose Township, where he was caught having sex with a horse while feeding it apples.

The result was his being booked into the Adams County Jail on one count of unlawful sexual contact with an animal, a class four felony, one misdemeanor count of criminal trespass to land, and one count of criminal damage of property. After the case was opened, the suspect agreed to plead guilty to criminal damage of property for injuring a domestic animal of another without consent, and prosecutors chose not to pursue the sexual contact with an animal and criminal trespass charges. He received a sentence of time served, two years of probation, and an order for an evaluation of his mental health.

A Massachusetts man reportedly purchased a winning lottery ticket, but when he accidentally left it behind at the store the clerk allegedly tried to cash it in and keep the $3 M winnings for herself.

On January 17, a man went to Savas Liquors in Lakeville to pick up a bag of potato chips and a lottery ticket.

The customer paid for the items, and when he exited the store, he reportedly left the lottery ticket at the checkout counter. Another customer in the establishment noticed the man left his ticket, and they brought it to the attention of the cashier.

A customer at a Northern New Mexico Sonic restaurant reportedly bit into a small baggie filled with cocaine while she was eating her chili cheese dog, and one of the cooks is being held accountable for the incident.

On May 30, a woman visited a Sonic Drive-In restaurant in Española, New Mexico, and placed an order for a hot dog with chili and cheese.

She was given her food, and when she began to eat, the woman took a bite and realized she had a plastic foreign object in her mouth. She retrieved the item, and she reported that it was a small plastic bag holding a white substance.

Two women have been accused of ripping off Walmart for hundreds of dollars of merchandise by allegedly switching price tags and failing to scan many items at the self-checkout station.

On May 27, two women were shopping together at a Walmart in Ocala, Florida, and they used the self-checkout lanes when they were ready to leave. They concluded the transaction and headed towards the door with their cart full of merchandise.

A store employee noticed what they believed was suspicious activity taking place when the women were scanning the items they planned to purchase. They thought the women did not scan several of the items in their cart.

A man in Illinois allegedly walked into a stranger’s residence while the inhabitants were asleep, and he reportedly stole a pair of socks before running out the door.

Early in the morning on April 1, a family was asleep in their Ankeny apartment when a stranger allegedly came inside using the front door.

A female resident was asleep on the couch with the television on in the background, and the others, including the children, were sleeping in their own rooms.

A Georgia man was jailed on many charges after a female neighbor reportedly caught him on video on more than one occasion while he allegedly peeped through a window at her residence. 

It was reported that on March 27, a woman who lives just outside of Savannah, Georgia, was looking at her home surveillance video when she noticed footage of a man peering through one of her windows. The timestamp on the video showed that the alleged peeper was there at approximately 11:00 PM the previous night. 

Later Monday evening, the woman’s home alarm system was set off. She checked the security camera video and said it captured footage of the same man looking through her window again. When the alarm started to sound, the suspect reportedly ran away from the home.

A man in Florida was arrested for many charges after being accused of sexually assaulting women at gunpoint while they were standing at bus stops. 

Early in the morning on New Year’s Day, a woman was waiting at a bus stop in Orlando when she was reportedly approached by a stranger wearing a mask. She was allegedly assaulted by the man. 

At approximately 6:00 AM on February 2, a woman at a different Orlando bus stop reported that a man she did not know walked up to her with a firearm. He allegedly told her to give him her money before he sexually assaulted her.

Last Sunday, a Florida man was arrested after allegedly walking into a private home while the resident was there and attempting to cause an accident with another car while reportedly fleeing from the authorities. 

On the afternoon of January 29, a homeowner in Gainesville was upstairs in their residence when they reportedly heard a sound that made them think an intruder had entered their kitchen. 

The resident yelled, and the alleged bandit left the house.
