On October 13, a 15-year-old girl and her friend visited the Museum of Science in Boston together. When the authorities were notified, the Massachusetts State Police went to the location to investigate the situation. They spoke with the teenage girl, and she explained that while she was in the restroom at the sink, someone came up behind her and put their hand over her mouth. She reported that they tried to strongarm her, but she broke free and exited the bathroom. She provided what the police considered a good description of the suspect. The woman who was in the restroom when the incident occurred also spoke to the police.
