On a Friday evening, 71-year-old Roger D. Washburn was spending time with two of his friends at his home. They were unsure about who the singer of a popular song was and it became the subject of a debate.

One of the men said that he believed the song was sung by Bruno Mars, but Washburn did not agree. When the man, who has been friends with Washburn for half a century, provided proof of his claim the fight continued.

Washburn allegedly grabbed a handgun and struck his friend in the face and arm with it causing it to fire, but no one was hit by the bullet. His friend reportedly defensively swung at Washburn and the gun fired a second time.

Authorities inspecting the details of a fire that occurred in May at a home in Tennessee have alleged that the blaze was started when a man set his daughter’s wheelchair aflame while she was sitting in it.

A home where a father and daughter reside in Pulaski, Tennessee, caught fire on May 20, and it resulted in the girl, whose age is unknown, to suffer from injuries requiring her to receive treatment at a burn center.

The following day, a team of inspectors opened an investigation to gain information about the origin of the fire. They reported that they discovered information leading them to believe that the father, 41-year-old Timothy Shane Medley, was responsible for the event.

A man is facing charges after bringing his wife who suffers from dementia to the fair with a dog leash affixed around her so that she would not get lost. He allegedly pulled on the leash hard enough to result in injury.

66-year-old Walter William Wolford Sr. and his wife Catherine, accompanied by their son and daughter-in-law, went to the York Fair in Pennsylvania on Saturday, where Wolford and his wife also reportedly visited last year.

Wolford said that during their previous visit, Catherine, who has late-stage dementia, had roamed away from him and she was not found for over an hour, so he decided that he would use a nylon dog leash around her waist in order to prevent a repeat of that experience.

A man from West Virginia has been accused of assaulting his mother with a spatula after getting high from huffing paint and he is facing charges for the allegations.

Police got word about an incident that was suspected to have resulted in someone sustaining injuries. They dispatched to the location to assess the situation and when they arrived they found a man sitting in front of the house.

The man, identified as 30-year-old Glenn Allen Casdorph, had what appeared to be silver paint on his hands and face, and he was allegedly holding a steel bar.

A patron of a Florida storage facility became involved in an argument leading to a physical fight with a staff member when they took different sides on the issue of the Colin Kaepernick protest that started when he kneeled during the National Anthem in 2006.

When 60-year-old Peter Jordan went to Port Saint Lucie Storage he reportedly began discussing football with one of the employees. The conversation allegedly turned sour when the subject of Colin Kaepernick came up and each of the men had differing opinions on the protest started through his action.

According to the arrest affidavit, Jordan approached the alleged victim when he stepped behind the counter and became verbally aggressive toward him. Things reportedly elevated to the point that a physical encounter ensued, and another employee tried to intervene by stepping between the two men which resulted in an injury to his arm.

A girl was caught on video when she pushed her friend off of a bridge in Washington in August, and she is now facing criminal charges.

On August 7, a group of friends gathered at Moulton Falls at a bridge that people have jumped off for fun for quite some time, though it is not legal to do so. When one of the people in the group decided to jump from the bridge into the water below another one of the people in the party, 16-year-old Jordan Holgerson, said that she would like to jump as well.

Holgerson stated that she felt nervous about jumping from the 60-foot drop into the water and one of her friends, 18-year-old Tay’Lor Smith, offered to assist her with a shove.

When a high school sophomore wore a tee shirt with a message on it in response to her school’s dress code the incident resulted in criminal charges and her arrest.

15-year-old Isabella Messer is a student at Hopkinsville High School in Kentucky, and studies Tae Kwon Do in her spare time. Her mother has reported that Isabella has never gotten into any kind of trouble.

Isabella showed up at school while wearing a long sleeve shirt with peek-a-boo shoulders, which is against the new dress code implemented by the school district, and she was suspended for her attire going against the policy.

When a man and his girlfriend got into an argument in mid-August she said that he gave her a “wet willy” while he was in a highly intoxicated state, and he was placed under arrest for the incident.

When 47-year-old Joseph Sireci’s girlfriend came home from work and entered their shared dwelling she reportedly discovered him heavily inebriated and sprawled out on the floor.

Sireci’s girlfriend decided to go to the home of an acquaintance with her daughter to avoid conflict, and he allegedly accompanied her on the visit.

When three women shared an Uber ride in mid-June, they reported that their driver threatened their lives and would not allow them to exit the vehicle.

On June 15, three women who had attended a book club gathering together ordered an Uber to share for their ride back home.

The women reported that after they got into the vehicle and gave their destination to the driver he got on the Interstate and would not speak to them. The women alleged that he was also driving in a way that made them uncomfortable and that he taunted them by acting as if he might hit the center divider.

A man who allegedly battered the woman with whom he resides due to his angry reaction over an unpaid internet bill is facing felony charges for the actions that he has been accused of.

On Tuesday, 39-year-old David Mann was reportedly in the middle of a fight with the 78-year-old woman that he refers to as his wife regarding financial issues. He was allegedly upset that the DirecTV services had been interrupted even though he had given $200 to ensure that the bill got paid.

During the course of the argument, the woman tried to exit the residence but Mann is suspected of following her and preventing her from leaving before pushing the alleged victim onto a bed and exerting pressure on her neck with his hands for a few seconds, as reflected in the arrest report.
