A Connecticut woman was arrested on several charges after she allegedly used the name of an incarcerated person to fraudulently collect $20,000 in unemployment benefits during the pandemic. 

According to reports, the Statewide Prosecution Bureau and the Unemployment Compensation Fraud Unit received notification from the State Department of Labor concerning possible unemployment fraud.  

The investigation reportedly revealed that between May and September 2020, an individual wrongfully and fraudulently collected $15,312 in unemployment benefits.

An Alabama man is facing several serious charges after allegedly having an underage girl perform sexually on a webcam and having her share the pictures and videos with men on a social media app. 

Between the beginning of July and the end of August, a 26-year-old man from Mobile was reportedly interacting with a 15-year-old girl on a social media app called “Discord.” 

According to reports, the man asked her to send him pictures and videos of herself engaging in sexual acts, despite allegedly knowing that she was underage.

A Utah woman behind the wheel who allegedly had more than eight times the legal blood-alcohol limit was arrested after she reportedly came close to hitting a police vehicle while driving erratically. 

Around 8:00 AM on November 29, a woman was driving down a street in Spanish Fork where a construction project was underway. There were barricades and traffic cones placed on the road to direct traffic around the work site. 

A deputy with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office driving ahead of the woman reported that they checked their mirror, and they saw the woman behind them driving in an unsafe manner. The deputy said the woman’s vehicle hit some of the cones and barriers in the construction area.

Members of the community have expressed concerns and disdain after an attorney who allegedly entered his ex-girlfriend’s place of employment and tried to shoot her was rapidly released from custody on a bond.

Late in the morning on November 26, at the Anderson Mill Pub in northwest Austin, the bartenders were serving a few customers when a man walked into the establishment.

Some of the customers recognized the man as the recent ex-boyfriend of one of the bartenders who was working a shift that morning.

A suspected intoxicated driver in Pennsylvania was taken into custody after he allegedly used his vehicle to damage a private residence and flipped the truck on its side. 

Early in the morning on October 23, a man who was asserted to be under the influence of alcohol was driving his truck through a residential area in Lebanon County. 

According to reports, the man allegedly drove the vehicle onto someone’s lawn and began to do a “burnout.”

An allegedly drunk driver is facing many charges after he reportedly drove through a barricade and into a Christmas parade, where he hit a horse and the person riding it. 

On the evening of November 26, in Spanish Fork, Utah, the “Spanish Fork Parade of Lights” was taking place. Several people were standing on the sides watching the event. 

According to reports, around 7:30 PM, a car approached the barricade used to block off the street for the parade. Officers were present, and they tried to tell the driver that they could not pass through the barricade because of the event.

An Oklahoma man is facing charges after a game of Monopoly with relatives allegedly turned into a domestic violence incident causing him to chase members of his family down the street with a gun. 

On the evening of November 26, a Tulsa man was spending time and having alcoholic beverages with his relatives. His stepfather and stepsister were in attendance. During his visit, he and his family began to play a game of Monopoly. 

As they were playing, the man and his stepdad had a disagreement. While Monopoly is notorious for causing strife between players, it was not reported whether the game was the reason for the contention.

A Florida man was placed under arrest after allegedly striking and injuring his girlfriend with a sex toy during a domestic dispute on Thanksgiving.

Just after 4:30 AM on Thanksgiving, a couple who have been together for 7 months and was staying at the Sun Island Motel in St. Petersburg began to engage in a verbal disagreement.

Things reportedly heated up, and the fight allegedly became physical.

After investigating a felon for weeks, the authorities found and arrested a man who had many active warrants both federally and in more than one state, in addition to newly incurred charges. 

It was reported that law enforcement with the Parsons, Kansas Police Department has had an open investigation for several weeks trying to track down a known felon from Columbus, Kansas. 

The man, who is 43 years old, has several active felony arrest warrants. He is wanted in Labette County, Kansas, for aggravated kidnapping and domestic battery. The state of Missouri issued a warrant for a parole/probation violation, and he is wanted by the U.S. Marshal Service for possession of a weapon by a felon.

A doctor at a Florida medical salon was accused of giving two female patients alcohol and narcotics to sedate them before allegedly sexually assaulting them while they were undergoing procedures. 

On October 22, a 51-year-old woman was a patient at the Pura Vida Medical Spa for a procedure called ultherapy. 

She was given a prescription for Alprazolam, and the doctor told her that it would help with the pain she might experience during the procedure. When the doctor began working on her, he reportedly gave her laughing gas to further assist with the discomfort.
