An Alabama mother of a 10-month-old is facing charges after she was accused of intentionally scalding her baby by pouring hot soup on his face.

On November 14, a baby boy was brought to a local hospital in Mobile for medical treatment of injuries reportedly caused by serious burns.

According to reports, when the medical personnel examined the youngster, they noted that he was underweight for his age, and they believed he was suffering from malnourishment. In addition to the burns on his face, they also found scalding in his throat and on the inside of his mouth. It was believed that the injuries were caused by hot liquid being poured on him. The hospital treated the child, and they notified the authorities to report the injuries. An investigation was launched by the DA.

A woman in Florida was arrested after allegedly abandoning two of her three children at a local hospital.

On August 14, a woman from Dothan, Alabama, was driving in Destin, Florida, with her three children, one of whom is an infant, in the car. She reportedly did not stop the vehicle, but she allegedly told one of the older children to take the baby from the car seat and change their diaper. It was reported that the youngster refused to remove the baby from the car seat while the car was moving.

According to reports, the woman stopped at HCA Florida Destin Emergency. She reportedly told the older children she needed money for gas, and she told them to go into the hospital to see if they could find anything. When they got out of the vehicle, a security guard allegedly saw their mother drive away with the baby, leaving the other youngsters behind. The guard accompanied them into the hospital.

A man in Florida is facing charges after allegedly kicking and striking a woman several times while she had an infant in her arms because he believed she was having an affair.

On the morning of July 26, a woman was at home with her four children and a male guest. The man reportedly became angry because he believed the woman was cheating on him, and an argument ensued.

The situation reportedly escalated, and the man allegedly became physically violent. According to reports, he kicked the woman and struck her with a closed fist. He also allegedly spit on her and picked up a child’s scooter and hit her with it. The baby was still in her arms and they reportedly both fell to the ground. The other three children were also present during the alleged attack.

A woman from Cincinnati was jailed after allegedly drinking alcohol while driving a U-Haul with her two young children as passengers.

Late in the evening on June 6, the authorities in Hart County, Kentucky, were notified by someone driving on Interstate 65 North. The caller reported that they saw someone driving a U-Haul with children inside, and they could see the driver drinking what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage.

Kentucky State Police troopers searched the area where the U-Haul was reportedly seen, and they were able to quickly locate the vehicle, which they said was being driven erratically. They performed a traffic stop to investigate the situation.

A teenage babysitter in Florida is facing felony charges for reportedly recording a video that allegedly showed a 1-year-old smoking marijuana after she placed a joint in the baby’s mouth. 

On March 23, the 16-year-old mother of a 1-year-old little girl left her baby under the care of her 17-year-old friend in her Largo residence. 

According to reports, the babysitter is a pot smoker, and she reportedly lit up while she was babysitting the child.

The mother and father of a 4-month-old were arrested after it was discovered that the baby had been horribly abused and had several broken bones and brain bleeds. 

On February 8, the parents of the infant girl took her to the Firelands Regional Medical Center for medical treatment. 

After assessing the child’s condition as serious, it was decided that she would be transferred to a pediatric hospital.

The mother and father of a 9-month-old are facing charges after the baby overdosed on heroin that they reportedly left all over their home. 

Last Monday, a mother was changing her infant’s diaper when she noticed the child was lethargic and pale. She called the authorities for emergency assistance. 

When the first responders arrived at the house, they reported that the child was not breathing. They believed the youngster had overdosed on opioids, and they administered a dose of Narcan.

A mother is facing charges after being accused of creating pornographic content with her two youngsters and the family dog and uploading the files to Snapchat.  

In August, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children opened an investigation after an anonymous tip was given about a Snapchat account that allegedly contained video footage of a male toddler having sex with an adult woman. 

The suspect was identified as the 26-year-old mother of an infant and a 3-year-old boy.

A couple is facing charges for endangerment after their baby was found in medical distress from choking on what was reported to be fentanyl. 

27-year-old Echo Dunn and 38-year-old Robert Pilgram have a 7-month-old son, and they live in Bethel, Maine. 

It was reported that on March 3, 911 received a call from someone that wanted to report that their child was choking on something.

A father who was hanging out and drinking with his friends online reportedly became frustrated with his fussy baby and allegedly threw her against a wall with enough force to fracture her skull. 

23-year-old Theodor Hurt and his wife, 24-year-old Dakota Vick, have five children, ages two, four, six, and eight years old, and an eight-month-old daughter. The family resides in Omaha, Nebraska. 

In the middle of November, Hurt and Vick were reportedly at home with their children. It was reported that Hurt was playing video games and drinking alcohol with some of his friends online.
