A Nevada man is facing charges after allegedly taking part in the theft scam of a casino for over $1 million.

On June 17, someone called the Circa Las Vegas Resort and Casino in downtown Las Vegas at approximately 4:30 AM and said that they were the owner of the establishment. The caller said he needed $320,000 from the casino vault to make a payment for fire safety equipment.

The cage supervisor was told to deposit the funds into a Bitcoin ATM located at a local Terrible’s gas station. A while later, she was instructed to meet someone she was told was a Circa lawyer at an auto parts store and give them $350,000.

An Indianapolis woman is back behind bars after allegedly setting her now ex-boyfriend’s house on fire with a butane torch used for smoking meth after she was initially released from jail for an unrelated matter.

On March 29, a 26-year-old woman and her boyfriend got into a fight about his displeasure over her visiting a casino. She reportedly got upset and texted him, threatening to drive his truck through his home. Just to be safe, the man called the authorities to report the situation.

Officers located the woman, and when they learned she was driving without a valid license, she was taken into custody.

A woman and her wife allegedly abducted her biological children in Missouri and took them to Arizona without permission. 

Brittany Barnes is married to Ceairah Beverly. Barnes has three biological sons, ages 8, 9, and 10, of whom she does not have custody. According to reports, she lost custody of the children at the beginning of the year due to a few legal issues that she is currently dealing with. 

On the morning of March 23, Barnes showed up at the Springfield, Missouri home of her children’s paternal grandmother, who currently has physical custody of the boys. Barnes retrieved her sons for an unsupervised visit.

When a Nevada man was accused of crashing into an RV while driving under the influence, he reportedly could not answer simple questions when interacting with the police.

Around 3:00 pm on August 7, a vehicle reportedly caused an accident when it crashed into an RV parked at the Saddle West Hotel Casino RV Resort in Pahrump.

The authorities were notified, and the Nye County Sheriff’s Office sent officers to the location of the wreck.

A woman who lost hundreds of dollars at a Florida casino is facing felony charges for allegedly calling the establishment and telling them she left an explosive device on the premises.

On May 11, 54-year-old Adele Belizaire was staying at the Seaside Inn and Suites.

During the evening, Belizaire was reportedly a patron at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa.

A man in Oregon was arrested for allegedly robbing several bottle drops in different locations across the state in order to purportedly spend the money on a Hummer and trips to the casino.

On September 5, a man was arrested and accused of a series of robberies of recycling bottle drop machines that the authorities believe began about 5 months ago.

The suspect, 34-year-old Brett McQuiston, was reportedly identified around midnight after being seen by a security guard patrolling a Beaverton bottle drop facility just outside of Portland. The security guard reported that someone wearing a ski mask, purportedly to hide their appearance, was holding a crowbar and acting suspiciously near the machine.

On Friday, a Louisiana man was arrested on suspicion of numerous charges after he reportedly tried to physically assault an employee at a casino. During the suspect’s arrest he also allegedly made several threats toward the officers and their families.

A man visiting the Hollywood Casino in Baton Rouge on July 1 allegedly got highly upset with one of the workers in the establishment and appeared as if he might become physically aggressive when he jumped over a table and began threatening the staff member. Another employee stepped in and grabbed the man to prevent him from getting close enough to harm the person he was angry with.

The authorities were alerted and upon arrival, they discovered that the suspect was Clifton Jeanpierre III, 27.

A gunman, now identified as Stephen Craig Paddock, of Mesquite, used a fully-automatic assault rifle to fire hundreds, perhaps thousands of rounds down onto a crowd of fans enjoying the conclusion of a three-day country music festival near the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Over 58 people are dead and at least 400 wounded in the now-deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

In footage of the attack, dozens of shots can be heard going off in a matter of seconds. Officers and SWAT team personnel stormed the hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Casino to find Paddock dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Among the wounded and dead were four off-duty police officers.

A Paramount man was convicted, on October 31, of four counts of second degree robbery and one count of attempted second degree robbery after he followed home customers from local casinos and robbed them.

According to Deputy District Attorney Brian Kang, Dominick Roberson followed home and robbed three women from the Hawaiian Gardens casino. A 50 year old woman from Long beach was robbed of $1000 in cash and her purse. A 41 year old woman of Westminster was robbed of $3100 in cash and her purse. And a 51 year old woman of La Puente was robbed of $2000. He also followed home a man from the same casino, confronting him in his driveway, but the man was able to get away.

Roberson reportedly also followed another woman from the Hollywood park casino to her home in Torrance, robbing her of at least $6000 in cash.
