The husband of a disabled woman in New Mexico allegedly assaulted and tried to set her on fire after reportedly becoming enraged when he learned he did not qualify to receive a COVID-19 stimulus check.

63-year-old Joe Macias and his wife, who is reportedly disabled, live together in a trailer in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

On Wednesday, Macias reportedly discovered that he would not be receiving a stimulus check that is being issued to help U.S. citizens during the current pandemic.

A person who requires 285 or more hours of assistance in a 30-day period is considered a severe case, and they would be eligible for the maximum amount of benefits issued from In Home Support Services.

56-year-old Errica Madkins Mickens was reportedly awarded full assistance from the county programs when she allegedly presented herself as someone incapable of speaking or walking.

After her boyfriend told her that he was too sleepy to have sex, a woman allegedly sliced him many times with a kitchen knife when she reportedly became rather agitated over being turned down.

Jennifer Lee Chapman and her boyfriend live together in an apartment in Dunedin, Florida. The 36-year-old woman reportedly got the urge to become sexually intimate with her boyfriend around 5:30 am on Friday.

When Chapman propositioned her man he told her he was too drowsy and decided to reject her request, which incited a verbal altercation between the pair.

A man who spent over two decades working with law enforcement is facing several criminal charges for allegations that he was the perpetrator of child sexual abuse.

50-year-old Kip Wayne Teal had a 22-year career in Spartanburg County law enforcement agencies, the past four of which he was with the Coroner’s office.

Teal, who resigned from his position approximately a year ago for unrelated reasons, has been accused of incidents involving the sexual assault of a minor that purportedly took place from August 2013 until July 2016. The youngster in question’s reported abuse began when she was 6.

A 9-year-old child went to school with more than $2000 in his possession and when his mom arrived to pick up the cash almost half of it was allegedly missing.

A mentally handicapped boy reportedly showed up for school for the day and he was allegedly holding $2100 in cash that he took from his parents.

After the teachers at the elementary school found out that the boy had the money they confiscated and counted it, and then allegedly secured it inside of the principal’s office until the child’s mother was able to come in and pick it up.

A married couple and their three adult children have been accused of inflicting several types of abuse upon one of their legally disabled relatives, a woman with autism and other diagnoses, who has lived with them for the past three years.

When the mother of a 22-year-old autistic woman passed away in August 2015, she moved into a trailer on the property of her family members who have a home that they share with their children. The woman reportedly slept on a bed inside of the trailer parked on the property.

On August 13, 2015, one day after the woman’s mother died, 45-year-old Terry Knope, the husband of her blood relation, 42-year-old Raylaine Knope, took over as the executor of the SSI benefits received due to her disability. He was awarded the responsibility in order to make sure that the near $9,000 a year was used to ensure that the woman’s housing and other basic needs were met.

A blind and disabled man dressed in a yellow Minion character costume who was entertaining as the mascot of a store on the boardwalk in Daytona Beach was allegedly the victim of a random attack by an Instagram internet performer.

25-year-old Ryan Nihart has two Instagram channels where he posts videos under the name Bouje Ratchet for a fan base of approximately 4,000 followers who view his material.

On Sunday, July 8, Nihart reportedly went to the Daytona Beach boardwalk and approached 40-year-old Jamie Roehm. Roehm is a legally blind and disabled man who dresses in a costume depicting a character from the movie Despicable Me who works as the mascot of Jungle George, a business on the boardwalk.

A 7-year-old boy was found by himself at Union Station on the 4th of July after his mother allegedly abandoned him for nearly 24 hours. The child was not verbally responsive when the authorities tried to talk with him which led them to believe he might be deaf or have a developmental disability.

Employees at Union Station reported that they saw a woman and the child sitting together while having a meal, and the boy came into the kitchen area of the café unattended. When they searched for the woman that was with him, who was later suspected to be his mother, they were not able to locate her so they alerted the authorities.

The boy was believed to have a developmental or medical problem because he was not verbally expressive when the officers tried to ask him questions about why he was alone, and the Los Angeles Police Department Transit Services Division released the youngster into the custody of the LA County Department of Children and Family Services. Members of the child’s family were located the following day and they are now providing care for him in his mother’s absence.

A disabled woman in the care of her husband and son was discovered living in unhealthy conditions and reportedly had maggots covering her decomposing flesh. Her family members are facing charges for the alleged abuse.

A Sugar Hill, Georgia, obese and bedridden elderly woman living with her husband and son as her caretakers lost consciousness last Thursday, and Gwinnett County Fire Department Emergency Medical Technicians responded to the call for help.

The fire crew that dispatched in response to the call had been to the woman’s home one month prior when they transported her back from a trip to the hospital and assisted her into her home with the use of a “Mega Mover;” a special tarp designated for moving very large patients. When they came back to the apartment this time they believed that the woman had remained upon the same tarp with which they brought her home on since their previous visit. The once-clean canvas was now allegedly stained with fecal matter and the woman’s legs appeared to be blackened and decomposing. Maggots and cockroaches were reportedly eating the dead flesh from her body and they did not believe she would survive.

A man working as a caregiver for a young boy with special needs has been accused of child abuse after his mother viewed disturbing footage on her nanny cam.

The 6-year-old boy reportedly suffers from a genetic disorder called CHARGE syndrome, and while it has a recognizable pattern of symptoms they present differently in each child. Oftentimes babies are born with this affliction which causes problems such as eye and heart defects, ear and hearing obstacles, and emotional as well as developmental setbacks.

Due to his illness the boy’s hearing is highly diminished which causes him the inability to properly speak, and he requires a medical feeding tube in order to eat because he has trouble with breathing and swallowing.
