The mother and stepfather of a 10-year-old are facing charges after she reportedly had her hand burned on a stovetop as a form of punishment.

On April 19, a young girl and her brother were at their Biscayne Gardens, Florida, home with their stepdad, who was taking care of them while their mom was at work. The child pushed her sibling, and their stepdad reportedly forced her into the kitchen and made her hold her hand on a hot, coiled burner on the stovetop to punish her. After she got away from the 42-year-old man, the injured girl reportedly called her mother to tell her what happened. The woman allegedly did not try to help her, and the child was reportedly not taken for medical treatment.

When the child returned to school on Monday, her teacher saw that her hand was badly burned, and the girl told her that her stepfather had hurt her. The school notified the authorities about the situation, and an investigation was opened. Deputies from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office went to the family’s residence, where they found the parents.

A woman in northeast Los Angeles is facing legal consequences after allegedly arguing and becoming physical with a pregnant street vendor and shoving her to the ground.

Late in the afternoon on April 14, a woman who operates as a food vendor in Simi Valley was working when she was reportedly approached by an allegedly indignant 56-year-old local woman who had negatively interacted with her in the past. The woman first reportedly accused the vendor, who is 7 months pregnant, of selling unsafe food to customers. The vendor tried to respond, but did not speak English, and things escalated. According to reports, when the vendor tried to walk away from the situation, the woman blocked her and pushed her to the ground. There were multiple people in the area during the alleged assault, and some of them intervened while the authorities were notified. Officers from the Simi Valley Police Department headed to the scene to investigate.

The police collected information about the incident, and they reported that the suspect told the alleged victim she did not want her to work on her street anymore. They also reported that she said the vendor was causing the value of her property to decline, in addition to admonishing her for speaking Spanish in the United States.

A woman who works at a McDonald’s on Florida’s Western Gulf Coast was arrested for child abuse after she allegedly attacked a teenage girl for helping herself to Ranch dipping sauce without the assistance of an employee.

Late in the afternoon on April 4, a 17-year-old girl went to a McDonald’s in St. Petersburg. When she received her order, the teen realized there were no containers of Ranch sauce in the bag. The young woman tried to get the attention of the employees to ask for the dip, but she alleged that no one would help her. She took it upon herself to remedy her problem by stepping behind the counter and grabbing what she needed.

A 31-year-old employee noticed the teen as she went back to the public area and allegedly became physically aggressive by first grabbing her by the arm. According to the police report, the girl “tried to break free” from the worker’s hold. She was unsuccessful, and the employee reportedly pushed the girl to the ground while holding her by the neck before allegedly choking her.

When several teenagers reportedly wreaked havoc at a Florida Walmart, one of the dads who went to pick up his child was arrested after he allegedly physically attacked responding deputies.

On September 28, a Walmart in Palm Coast was visited by a group of rowdy teens under the age of 16. It was reported that they arrived on bicycles and brought them into the store when they entered. They began riding them through the aisles and yelling profanities at the shoppers. When they were in the parking lot they reportedly set off several car alarms. The authorities were notified, and deputies from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office found the teenagers near the store. They notified their parents about the situation and asked them to come and pick up their children.

According to reports, when the 34-year-old father of one of the kids showed up he became physically aggressive and pushed one of the deputies. Additional deputies were present, and a couple of them ran over to assist with the situation. The footage captured on their body-worn cameras appeared to show the man repeatedly telling the approaching deputies that he didn’t do anything. He can also be seen trying to run away from them. It was reported that when they caught him and tried to put him in handcuffs, one deputy’s hand was hit and the other had their arm shoved.

An Arkansas man was arrested after he allegedly kicked his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach during a domestic dispute.

According to reports, last month, a pregnant woman who lives in Gassville with her boyfriend and their children let one of her friends borrow a car. The vehicle belongs to her boyfriend, and the couple got into an argument about the amount of gas that was used. Shortly after the fight began, the man reportedly made an offensive comment about their children. After asking him to stop saying such things, the man allegedly became physically aggressive and pushed his girlfriend. When the woman lost her balance, he reportedly kicked her in the stomach.

The authorities were notified, and officers from the Mountain Home Police Department, in addition to first responders in an ambulance arrived at the scene. The woman, who had bruises on her stomach believed to have come from the incident, was taken to Baxter Health for medical assessment and care. According to reports, she was told that everything should be okay since her pregnancy is not that far along.

An Alabama teenager on vacation in Florida reportedly got drunk and harassed people playing tennis and spit on the face of a deputy who was arresting him for the alleged inappropriate behavior.

On the evening of March 25, a 17-year-old from Mountain Brook who was on vacation in Florida was hanging out at Santa Rosa Beach. The young man walked over to an area with tennis courts, and he allegedly started bothering the people who were playing. What reportedly began with the teen launching a verbal assault soon escalated into the physical realm.

The young man was asked to depart the premises, but he allegedly pushed a man so hard that he fell. When he regained his footing, the man grabbed the teen and held him down until the authorities arrived.

A Florida man is facing several charges after a spat at her wedding reception allegedly led to him hitting his sister and some of the guests in attendance.

On February 24, a woman got married in Largo, Florida, and had the reception at The Event Hall, described on their website as “an Inclusive Service Event Venue.”

Several of the bride’s family members were in attendance, including her brother, who was convicted for battery in 2014. Just before 10:00 PM, while the celebration was still in progress, her sibling reportedly got upset with his sister and began to yell at her. The argument intensified, and the man allegedly hit the bride and pushed her onto the ground.

A New York woman in Florida was arrested after she allegedly assaulted two people when she became angry because they were doing stretches together by the pool.

At approximately 2:00 AM on September 17, a 41-year-old woman at a residence in Lady Lake reportedly spotted a male and female doing stretching exercises by the swimming pool. It is likely that she has a connection to the male, but the nature of their relationship was redacted from the police report.

The woman reportedly believed the people stretching by the pool were performing intimate acts as well, and she allegedly became angry. She went to the pool area and approached the pair.

A Florida man was arrested after allegedly becoming physically aggressive towards his wife when a television show she was watching mentioned homosexuality.

Early in the evening on July 6, a 62-year-old man, and his 62-year-old wife of almost 40 years who live together in a home in the Florida retirement community “The Villages” were hanging out and having some drinks. The woman was watching television and the show she had on presented content that her husband deemed homosexual in nature. The man allegedly became very upset by the material.

The situation reportedly became heated, and the man allegedly pushed his wife onto a reclining chair and prevented her from getting up. The woman kicked at her husband to try to get him off her.

A suspect has been taken into custody after he allegedly brutally attacked a septuagenarian as the man was leaving a grocery store. 

43-year-old Donald Ray Walker resides in Indian Lake Estates in Polk County, Florida. 

In the afternoon on March 26, Walker and his family had a meal at a Chinese buffet in Southeast Plaza.
