When a Largo man allegedly stole a pricey boat from a dealership, he reportedly left the vessel after crashing into a group of pilings.

Last Saturday around 2:00 am, the theft of a 2019 Jeanneau Leader boat with a value of $90,000 was reportedly robbed from the Thunder Marine boat dealership in St. Petersburg.

After the suspect left the shore with the boat, the alleged voyage took a turn for the worse as the vessel was navigated in a way that caused it to smash into four wooden channel-marker pilings.

An aspiring rap recording artist allegedly made a video and posted it to social media in a purported attempt to encourage viewers to take violent action toward law enforcement agents in retaliation of the death of George Floyd.

20-year-old Cale Groff has an internet following of more than 7,000 people on Instagram, and he uses the performing name “Ace $wift” on the audio distribution service SoundCloud to share his rap music with over 300 people who subscribe to his page.

On June 1, Groff allegedly released a video on Instagram asking viewers to use whatever they could get their hands on to violently harm any police officers they came in contact with.

A man was accused of domestic violence after he allegedly used raw chicken and laundry as weapons during a fight with his spouse.

34-year-old Thomas Reece and his wife of the same age live together in St. Petersburg, Florida where the man is also reportedly employed at Lowe’s.

On May 15, the pair were home together in the evening when they allegedly became entangled in a spat regarding what the police noted as “a family issue.”

A couple was arrested after reportedly being caught in the act of having sex in public while adjacent to a local St. Petersburg hospital.

On March 2, just after 9:30 pm, 45-year-old Ann Marie Tucker and 37-year-old Albert Singletary were allegedly hanging out near St. Anthony’s Hospital.

While in view of the passersby, and rather close to a sign posted that was marked to deter trespassers, Tucker and Singletary allegedly removed their clothing in the public space and began to partake in a public sexual encounter.

A Michigan man was arrested after police allegedly caught him while he was in the middle of relieving his bladder on the bumper of a police sergeant’s marked car.

Near 1:00 am on February 8, the police were present on a street in downtown St. Petersburg that is known for its nightlife.

A police sergeant’s vehicle was parked on the side of the road, and when officers in the area reportedly saw a man approaching the car they kept an eye on him to see what he was up to.

A college student was arrested in a bar last weekend when two females alleged that the man urinated on them from a balcony while they were sitting on the ground level.

Jack DeBrabander is a 20-year-old engineering major at Michigan State University.

Last Saturday, DeBrabander was reportedly visiting the Yard of Ale bar in St. Petersburg, Florida.

A woman has been accused of trying to hit her boyfriend by throwing a Bible at his head during a dispute.

51-year-old Terry Slaughter and her boyfriend share a residence together in St. Petersburg, Florida for more than a year.

Around noon on January 19, Slaughter and her beau reportedly began to engage in a quarrel. During the spat Slaughter allegedly hurled a Bible in the direction of the man’s head and it was asserted that she intended to strike him with the sacred tome. The allegedly irate woman has also been accused of smashing her boyfriend’s cell phone during the altercation.

When the wife of a Florida man was allegedly struck as her husband attempted to hit her with a Pop Tart the authorities deemed it an act of criminal domestic violence.

36-year-old Brandon Sutherland is a disabled veteran who lives in St. Petersburg, Florida, with his 29-year-old wife.

Around 10:00 pm on December 15, Sutherland and his spouse reportedly got into an argument that escalated to the point where the man allegedly became rather frustrated.

A man was arrested on Sunday after police reported that he called to let them know that he was in possession of marijuana.

21-year-old Joshua Simmons is documented as a homeless man in the St. Petersburg area of Florida.

Just before 11:00 pm on Sunday, Simmons reportedly dialed 911 and informed the operator that he was carrying drugs.

During a traffic stop, a deputy allegedly found a backpack with marijuana inside the vehicle and purported that it belonged to the driver.

In the afternoon on July 5 in St. Petersburg, a deputy reportedly saw a vehicle traveling on the road with a burned out brake light on the driver’s side, and registration tags that appeared to be past their expiration date.

The deputy pulled the car over to find out about the allegedly expired tags and inform the driver, identified as 23-year-old Samuel Antwoine Bryant, about the mechanical failure. When he walked up to the auto he reportedly smelled marijuana.
