Abundance of Roaches Scurried From Child’s Backpack at School

A mother is being charged with several felonies after her daughter showed up at school with hundreds of roaches reportedly infesting her backpack, leaving her aghast teachers to purport that she neglected to ensure her child was living in a sanitary environment.

33-year-old Jessica Stevenson is a single mother of 5 children between the ages of 5 and 14, and they reside together in a Milton, Florida, home.

Last week, Stevenson’s daughter, who is in 2^nd grade at Bagdad Elementary School, was in the cafeteria during the lunch period. Upon opening her backpack it was reported that hundreds of cockroaches began to crawl out.

Dog Walker Assaulted With Urine Filled Gun

When a woman was out for a stroll with her dog she allegedly became the target of an attack by a man with a water gun that he had filled with his own urine.

On Saturday evening, a dog owner was walking with her furry companion when she was allegedly met by a man wielding a water gun.

As the man walked up to her, she reported that he used the plastic piece to soak her in what she believed was his own urine.

Mom May Be Jailed For Toddler’s Public Potty Accident

A Beech Island mother is facing charges because her 3-year-old was unable to hold his urine in long enough to make it to a bathroom in time, resulting in him peeing in a public parking lot.

When Brooke Johns, who is less than a month away from giving birth to another child, was driving with her toddler he told her that he had to go to the bathroom badly and complained while wriggling around in a state of urgency.

Johns told him she was trying to find a place with a bathroom and pulled into the parking lot of the nearest gas station she could find as her son continued to anxiously express that he was about to wet his pants.

Suspects Arrested for Fraudulent Brokering of Urine from Addicts in Recovery

Two Delray Beach men have been suspected of taking part in a scam when they were found participating in profiting from illegal brokering practices involving the urine of patients with substance abuse problems who are in treatment and recovery programs.

It is reported that the urine collected from substance abuse treatment patients is a highly lucrative item for the labs that test it. When a lab acquires a contract with a treatment center in need of extensive urine testing they stand to profit quite a bit because insurance companies, though they often only pay for a portion of the charge, are billed up to $5,000 for the process.

In the state of Florida, it has been outlawed with a patient-brokering law in place prohibiting the acceptance of “any commission, bonus, rebate, kickback, or bribe, directly or indirectly, in cash or in kind,” to protect against treatment centers and labs from profiting illegally through patient and lab service referrals.

Officer Says Drug Charges Caused by False Positive from Exposure on Duty

A police officer for the New York Police Department was fired for a positive drug test result showing methamphetamines in his system, but the cop has denied the allegations and stated the results were compromised by his apparel.

Nearly 20 years ago the NYPD began implementing drug testing through collection of hair instead of the previously used urine tests. This method was chosen as the best way to ensure officers were not under the influence of narcotics due to the fact that testing the hair is reportedly more reliable, can detect substances in the system for a much longer period, and are less costly than urine sample tests.

33-year-old NYPD officer Brian Quire served on the Manhattan warrant squad and held a position with the police department for 12 years. Quire earned the nickname “Legs” by his colleagues due to his regular choice of shorts for his attire.
