During a visit with his children, a father has been accused of abusing his young daughter by allegedly hitting her and causing injuries with the remnants of a broken selfie stick.

28-year-old Aaron Moore is a father that shares custody of his children, and they were recently visiting with him at his residence.

Moore’s 6-year-old daughter had reportedly found a selfie stick, which is a device that allows one to take pictures of themselves with digital photography equipment at a greater-than-arm-length distance, and she began to play with it. It was reported that while playing with it she damaged the condition of the stick rendering it broken.

An assemblyman in California is suspected of child abuse for spanking his daughter, which provoked her school to notify the authorities the day after the alleged incident.

Joaquin Arambula, previously an ER doctor who is now a California state assemblyman in Fresno, has three daughters with his wife Elizabeth. He stated that he loves his children who are ages 3, 6 and 7, and that they “mean the world” to him, and that he and his wife on very rare occasions have used spanking, which is legal in all 50 states, as a form of discipline.

On Sunday evening, Arambula’s 7-year-old daughter reportedly started to misbehave and Arambula administered a spanking to the girl’s bottom as punishment. He said that upon inspection of his daughter’s body afterward, he did not see any visible injuries on her.

A single mom in North Carolina is facing charges after accusations that she abandoned her two children on the side of the road without any supervision.

On October 2, 38-year-old Jennifer Westfall reportedly became so exhausted that she allegedly drove her two children to a location away from home and left them on the side of the road. Westfall is also being accused of having driven away from the spot before making sure that the youngsters, who are age 19 months and 9-years-old, were in the care of someone responsible.

A woman allegedly found the kids roadside without a guardian and took them to a nearby school where they notified CPS of the situation.

The principal of an Oklahoma school is facing legal troubles after allegations regarding the amount of force he used while punishing two elementary school children with a paddle.

50-year-old Gary Gunckel is the principal of Indianola Public Schools in Oklahoma.

On September 6, a 10-year-old and 11-year old boy was punished by Gunckel when he hit them on their behinds with a wooden paddle after they got into a fight at school.

A preteen who failed to do his homework was allegedly punished by being physically assaulted by his mother who is now being charged for the incident.

In May, a 12-year-old boy got in trouble when his mother learned that he did not do his homework. She allegedly issued his punishment by abusing him in different ways.

The boy’s mom, Sharleen Hidalgo, has been accused of harshly criticizing her son, in addition to several types of physical assaults such as punching and kicking, due to his failure to complete class assignments.

Two women are facing legal consequences for allegations that they allowed and encouraged three young children to participate in smoking what is believed was marijuana after a video was released of the reported incident and generated much attention while circulating the internet.

21-year-old Michaela Pearson and 18-year-old Candice Little from Winston-Salem were identified as the two women allegedly depicted in a video while in the company of three toddlers between the ages of 4 and 6.

The recording, which was uploaded to Snapchat and made its rounds throughout social media sites, showed two women who have been reported as having the physical appearances of Pearson and Little. The women were seated with three young children as an item with the appearance of a cigar was passed amongst them.

A father and his girlfriend have been accused of child abuse and kidnapping after it was discovered that the couple had allegedly been forcing the man’s son into a locked space underneath the staircase for hours at a time over a suspected period of two to three months.

30-year-old Alex Craig Shadlow, and his 39-year-old girlfriend, Traci Lynn Tyler, share a home in Ackley, Iowa, along with Shadlow’s 8-year-old son.

During the summer in 2017, Shadlow and Tyler were reported to the police when their neighbors saw that they had placed the child inside of a tent to sleep for the night in the backyard during a lightning storm with heavy rain. The officer who investigated the claim made by the neighbor reported the incident to the Iowa Department of Human Services.

The mother of a 2-year-old little girl in Wisconsin is being investigated on suspicion that she allowed her boyfriend and another man to sexually abuse the child while she was present.

25-year-old Azzie C. Watson was taken into custody on June 29 when she failed to appear in court as ordered regarding drug charges, and her kids were placed in a foster home when she was jailed.

While changing the 2-year-old girl’s diaper the foster parent became concerned by her emotional behavior and she, along with her 1-year-old brother, was taken to the Children’s Mercy Hospital for assessment.

A man who was accused of sexually abusing an underage girl last July pleaded not guilty to the allegations, and he has been scheduled to appear in court to fight against the charges on July 16.

Early last summer the mother of a young girl notified the Alabaster Police Department and reported that she believed her daughter, who is between 12 and 16 years old, had been the victim of a sexual assault.

An investigation into the claim was opened and the authorities believe that the suspect responsible for the alleged assault is 35-year-old Alabaster resident Jeremy Douglas Loper. They reportedly discovered evidence of a minor who was subject to solicitation through electronic means, which led to a sexual encounter that took place on June 24 between Loper and the girl.

In early February an incident between a school bus driver and an 8-year-old autistic child was captured on video displaying the driver mocking and putting her hands on the child. The video was publicly released, and the driver is facing criminal charges.

64-year-old Kim Cheryle Klopson drives a school bus for the Vacaville Unified School District in Vacaville, California. On the morning of February 6, she was charged with driving the special needs children to Browns Valley Elementary School.

While the bus was en route to the school Klopson reprimanded an 8-year-old autistic girl who was on board and allegedly told her that if she continued to block the aisle with her feet she was “going to be on the window,” as heard on the surveillance equipment installed inside of the bus.
