A North Carolina man was arrested on nearly a dozen charges after he was accused of being the perpetrator of the armed robberies of two local convenience stores.

On September 5, the authorities were alerted when one of the Circle K convenience stores in Fayetteville reported that they experienced an armed robbery. The following day, another Circle K in Fayetteville reported that they, too, had been robbed by someone with a gun.

The Fayetteville Police Department opened an investigation and began trying to identify the suspect. Shortly after, someone who chose to remain anonymous told them they knew who was involved in the armed robberies. The man was tracked down and found at a private residence.

An Ashland City couple found themselves in jail after an alleged nap at a gas station pump with a 9-month-old child in the back seat of the car led to drug and domestic violence charges.

On August 25 at a local Circle K, the authorities were notified after it was discovered that a vehicle had been parked at a gas pump for about an hour and a half with a child in the backseat. When they got there, officers reportedly discovered a 21-year-old driver and a 22-year-old passenger slumped over in the front seats with a toddler in the back.

According to reports, when officers woke the pair, both appeared confused and disoriented. They refused a request to search the vehicle, but officers allegedly noticed a narcotic smoking device in plain view. A deeper search of the car reportedly revealed drug paraphernalia, including items that tested positive for fentanyl, along with heroin, ecstasy, and marijuana. The couple allegedly admitted to using heroin before arriving at the gas station.

A gas station worker in Arkansas was arrested after her employer named her the culprit when they reportedly found someone had stolen approximately $20,000 from the business by entering fake gas pump transactions.

Recently, a manager at the Circle K Convenience Store and Gas Station was looking over the books and doing the audits when they reportedly noticed a huge discrepancy in the numbers. It was reported that the business has an inventory process where they check the amount of money entered at the pumps against the amount of gas paid for. The manager found many transactions where money entered at the pumps was not accounted for, and they began investigating the situation.

According to reports, the situation was traced back several years, and between May 2023 and February 2024, it was found that approximately $20,000 was missing. After checking with the company that monitors the pumps, the management began to suspect the money had been stolen.

Two people in Florida were arrested for allegedly swiping wallets and purses out of a parked vehicle and trying to use one of the credit cards to purchase almost $3000 in merchandise.

Last Monday, several Gucci designer wallets and purses were reported stolen from a vehicle burglarized in Alachua. The key fob for the car was also taken. When the owners of the items realized they were missing, the authorities were notified.

It was reported that the bank began tracking the activity on the accounts associated with the missing cards, and one of them was used more than 30 times to try to pay for $2800 worth of merchandise. Several CashApp transfers were initiated, and someone tried to pay for items at a local Circle K using the allegedly stolen card.

A Florida man was arrested last weekend when he allegedly stole an Amazon van and drove more than 20 miles before he was apprehended at a gas station.

On February 18, a driver for Amazon was operating a company van while delivering packages in Ormond Beach, which is just north of Daytona Beach. While at one of the addresses on his route, the driver encountered a man who reportedly climbed into the driver’s seat of the van and started the vehicle. The driver tried to prevent the man from taking the van, but the alleged thief drove away.

According to reports, the Amazon van had a real-time video camera in the vehicle, and when the management learned about the alleged theft, they began using the feed to track the location. They reported that they could see the driver, and he seemed to be drifting in and out of consciousness. The authorities were notified about the situation.

According to reports, the police found and arrested a hitchhiker that they found hiding in a homeowner’s shed after he allegedly tried to hijack two cars. 

Early in the morning on April 7, a man from Cahokia Heights, Illinois, was reportedly hitchhiking in Fairview Heights. 

Someone saw the man and decided to offer him a ride. When he got into the vehicle, the hitchhiker allegedly tried to hijack the car, but the driver overpowered him.

A woman without permanent housing in the Pensacola area was arrested after she allegedly used gasoline to set a gas station clerk on fire. 

Early in the day on March 30, 30-year-old Betty Jean McFadden was reportedly outside of a Circle K convenience store and gas station asking for money from the patrons. 

It was reported that one of the clerks on duty spotted the woman and told her she would need to stop panhandling on the property.

A Florida Man allegedly attacked a group of teens that were sitting in a car at a gas station by bashing the vehicle they were in with a metal pipe and using racial slurs against them. 

58-year-old Richard Burnham resides in DeLand, Florida. 

Around 3:00 pm on January 22, Burnham reportedly went to a Circle K gas station.

After two men reportedly almost got into a car collision on a Parkway in Palm Coast, one of them allegedly brutally assaulted the other when they stopped at a nearby Circle K.

22-year-old Bruce Hunter Rohr and 53-year-old Andrew S both live in Palm Coast, Florida.

In the evening on October 19, both men were traveling on the Belle Terre Parkway in close proximity to each other.

Two Florida teenagers reportedly threw Slushies at people walking on the street while filming the icy assaults for YouTube material.

19-year-old Rafael Mercado lives in Pinellas Park, Florida, where he works for Salvo Technologies.

Around 2:00 pm on September 4, Mercado took a drive with Ke’ziyah McKay, 18, in the passenger’s seat.
