South Carolina Attorney Alex Murdaugh turned himself in last Thursday after he allegedly misappropriated millions of dollars from his law firm.

53-year-old Alex Murdaugh resides in Hampton. He obtained a state bar license in 1994. Murdaugh is a partner at the law firm that his great-grandfather started in 1901.

In addition to practicing personal injury law, Murdaugh is a prosecutor for the 14th Judicial Court.

When roommates in a Florida assisted living facility reportedly argued over television program preferences, one of the men allegedly struck the other over the head with his walking cane.

58-year-old Glenn Hutchinson rooms with a 56-year-old man at the Midway Manor Assisted Living Facility in Clearwater. Both of the men are reported as being physically disabled.

On the evening of July 25, Hutchinson and his roommate were watching television, but the men had different preferences for what to view.

25-year-old Joann Marie Slater, whose professional name is “Anne Marie,” is a singer and songwriter on the Interscope Records label with a hit song on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart.

The authorities caught an inmate after he reportedly attacked a corrections agent and tried to escape by stealing the injured officer’s vehicle and causing traffic accidents after he fled.

Dalton Ayers, 23, an inmate at the Florida Department of Corrections state prison, was convicted for possession of ammunition as a convicted felon, and petit theft.

Ayers, who is serving a 14-month sentence from the conviction, was on an outdoor work detail at the beginning of December.

A Cape Coral, Florida man has been held accountable after he allegedly viciously beat a woman who is 6-months pregnant for the belief that she is currently infected with the novel Coronavirus.

Last Monday evening, Cape Coral police were in the midst of responding to a possible domestic violence incident at an apartment complex after receiving notification from a concerned citizen.

As one of the officers made their way toward the apartment in question, it was reported that he could hear a woman yelling in a manner that led to the belief that she was in distress.
