A woman has been accused of assaulting a person that she was engaged in an argument with by dumping hot grease on the alleged victim.

On December 2, 61-year-old Charlene Thompson had a visitor at her Mt. Airy home and the two reportedly had a disagreement which escalated to the point that one of the women sustained physical injuries. Thompson has been accused of assaulting the alleged victim by splashing hot grease on the woman’s body during the fight.

When the police arrived at Thompson’s home they reported that the alleged victim was burned severely on her back and arms. They purported that this was the result of Thompson throwing the hot oil at her.

After her vehicle hit another car while driving on the interstate, the superintendent of the Cherokee County School District was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Gaffney resident Quincie Little Moore, whose husband said that she had gone to the Clemson game on Saturday, was driving home from the event a little after 1:00 am on Sunday.

Moore was said to be driving at an estimated speed of 10-20 mph on I-85 when she allegedly nodded off for a moment and hit into the back of another car on the road.

A man who is facing charges for DUI and felony hit-and-run after an alleged accident involving injury to the victim will learn if the charges against him will result in a trial after a settlement conference takes place in December.

39-year-old Randy Lee Miller from Cathedral City was reportedly driving his Volkswagen through Palm Springs early in the morning on September 11.

Miller, who was on his way home, allegedly hit a man identified as Jared Wright with his vehicle and did not stop traveling. Wright, who was reportedly on the roof of Miller’s car remained there for the next two miles as Miller made his way back to his house.

Authorities inspecting the details of a fire that occurred in May at a home in Tennessee have alleged that the blaze was started when a man set his daughter’s wheelchair aflame while she was sitting in it.

A home where a father and daughter reside in Pulaski, Tennessee, caught fire on May 20, and it resulted in the girl, whose age is unknown, to suffer from injuries requiring her to receive treatment at a burn center.

The following day, a team of inspectors opened an investigation to gain information about the origin of the fire. They reported that they discovered information leading them to believe that the father, 41-year-old Timothy Shane Medley, was responsible for the event.

A city councilwoman of a small town in Kansas is facing charges after an incident following her arrest where she has been accused of biting a police officer on his thumb so hard that it broke the bone.

Late in the morning on June 29, officers arrived at the home of Carol Fowler, a 48-year-old woman from Huron, Kansas, who works on the city council for the location that serves as home to 73 residents. She was being apprehended due to an outstanding warrant issued for failing to appear at a scheduled court date for charges she incurred in December.

Fowler allegedly was not compliant with the officers when they tried to arrest her, and she was reported as having kicked and scratched at them until a stun gun was eventually deployed in an attempt to subdue her. Neither of the deputies reported any significant injuries to them during the encounter, and she was taken to the Atchison county jail.

A man who has been accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol allegedly caused an accident on Sunday and was reportedly seen walking back to his burning vehicle to light a cigarette off of the flames.

The alleged driver of the car, 25-year-old Robert Quigley, was traveling on Interstate 80 with a woman in the passenger seat when his vehicle, which is suspected of traveling at a speed of nearly 80 mph, crashed into the back of an SUV that was at a standstill in traffic. Following the collision, Quigley’s car ignited from what was suspected as a possible breach in the fuel line.

A nearby Citrus Heights Police officer reported that he noticed the accident when Quigley’s car caught fire, and when he headed toward the scene to assist he believed that Quigley changed seats with his passenger so that it would appear as if she was the driver.

A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy was in an accident involving six automobiles in the early morning hours on June 16, for which he has been accused of causing by driving under the influence of alcohol.

Nicholas Smith was a new deputy hired by LA County Sheriff’s department where he remained employed for a period of six months.

On Sunday morning between 2:30 and 3:00 am Smith was reportedly driving his pickup truck through Palmdale while he was off duty, when he was suspected of allowing the vehicle to veer to the right on the road causing a collision with the rear end of a parked car that resulted in a domino effect when it smashed into four other vehicles.

A Palm Desert man believed to be driving under the influence was held responsible for an accident involving five cars that reportedly left one driver seriously injured. The allegedly intoxicated man also fled the scene after the initial incident occurred.

Just after 12:30 p.m. on Friday in Palm Desert five cars were involved in an accident that was allegedly caused by a man driving a Nissan Altima who is suspected of having been under the influence of alcohol and possibly drugs.

The Altima that the driver, later identified as 37-year-old Jeremy Tellez of Palm Desert, initially made impact with a Toyota Yaris and a Honda Civic in proximity of his vehicle. The driver of the Yaris hit the back end of a Toyota Highlander, and the Civic collided with an Ford F-150.

A high school student and her mother are facing charges after they allegedly assaulted employees of the institution.

Danazia Whitfield, an 18-year-old deaf girl, attends DuPont Manual High School in Louisville, Kentucky. On April 26, she was sent to the assistant principal’s office due to a dispute she had with a teacher and another student.

Whitfield placed her backpack in a spot that was obstructive while she sat outside of the office and a school security monitor picked it up and moved it to a less intrusive place.

After a collision between two cars took place causing several injuries in early September the woman who has been held responsible for the wreck has pleaded not guilty after being charged with child abuse and driving under the influence of marijuana.

Late in the evening on September 2, 20-year-old Adriana Sabrina Cadena was allegedly under the effects of marijuana when she was involved in a wreck with another vehicle in Orange, CA. With four people traveling in one car and six in the other, a total of ten people were a part of the accident. All of them were injured, though some more than others and four of the victims were children.

All of the people in the wreck reported that they were in pain, and one of them sustained broken bones. The four children who were passengers at the time of the collision were all reported as injured, and some of the victims were treated at the Children’s Hospital of Orange. Orange Police Department’s Sgt. Phil McMullin reported that Cadena would be charged for eight of the victims.
