The husband of a disabled woman in New Mexico allegedly assaulted and tried to set her on fire after reportedly becoming enraged when he learned he did not qualify to receive a COVID-19 stimulus check.

63-year-old Joe Macias and his wife, who is reportedly disabled, live together in a trailer in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

On Wednesday, Macias reportedly discovered that he would not be receiving a stimulus check that is being issued to help U.S. citizens during the current pandemic.

A man in North Carolina has been accused of kidnapping, assaulting, and sexually abusing another man while keeping the alleged victim trapped with a knife to his throat.

On March 14, a man in Wake County, North Carolina was reportedly taken against his will by a suspect later identified as 33-year-old Paul David Chadwick from Raleigh.

As part of the reported abduction, it was asserted that Chadwick used his hand to hold the man by the throat, in addition to holding a blade to the alleged victim’s neck to stop him from fleeing.

A Washington state woman allegedly used the guise of being a baby photographer in a purported attempt to kidnap a child, flee, and raise it as her own.

A woman who had recently given birth to a baby girl reported that she saw an advertisement in a Facebook group offering free baby photos free of charge in exchange for the shoot helping a new photographer establish her portfolio.

The woman said that the photographer came to her house a total of three times, and took selfies with her baby while she was there.

The girlfriend of a convicted felon in Jurupa Valley was allegedly kidnapped by her boyfriend and held captive for almost a week.

On the morning of January 25, 46-year-old Robert Stephen Lopez Jr. reportedly showed up at his girlfriend’s home in Jurupa Valley, allegedly without an invitation.

When Lopez arrived at the dwelling he allegedly strong-armed his way inside and grabbed the woman. The suspect, who was reported as being significantly larger in stature than his girlfriend, allegedly violently forced her to accompany him out of her home although she was reportedly unwilling and resistant.

A vehicle parked outside of an adult shop was reportedly stolen by a suspect who allegedly held the passenger who had his goat along for the trip at gunpoint as he drove through three states.

Early in the morning on New Year’s Day, a man, his passenger, and the passenger’s goat headed out to a local adult shop in Carthage, Missouri, in the driver’s truck.

The driver parked and entered the establishment while the passenger, who decided to take a snooze while waiting, and his goat remained in the vehicle.

When a man accused of neglecting his canine was visited by an animal control officer, he allegedly detained her in his home and brandished weapons while threatening the lives of the police and his neighbors.

On October 8, Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control sent an officer to inspect a report about a man who might be failing to give proper care to his dog.

When the officer arrived, the man, identified as 43-year-old Brian Tran, did not appear to be home at the time. A short time after, the officer said Tran returned to the residence in his vehicle and she believed he drove the car in her direction in an attempt to display aggression.

In North Carolina, a man’s wife allegedly maimed her husband when she reportedly used a sharp garden tool to chop off his penis.

On September 10, 56-year-old Victoria Frabutt and her 61-year-old husband reportedly spent the morning creating a savage and life-changing memory.

Victoria, who allegedly appeared to have the impression that her husband should be seen a “message for sinning against God and fornication,” reportedly tied up the man and retrieved a pair of gardening shears intended for clipping rose bushes.

A man from Willard, North Carolina, is suspected of abducting a woman and her 8-month-old child and keeping them captive for over a month while allegedly forcing the woman to perform sexual acts.

The Pender County 911 emergency services received a call on the morning of August 9 from the alleged victim of a kidnapping. The woman on the line reported that she and her baby had been taken by a man on Independence Day, and he had been keeping them captive since then.

The caller also said that her alleged kidnapper used a taser on her before sexually assaulting her. The woman reported that the alleged non-consensual acts took place on more than one occasion and that the man would sometimes point a gun at her while demanding sex.

In an alleged attempt to gain recognition on YouTube, two teenagers reportedly scripted and acted out what appeared to be a real kidnapping at a mall in Forsyth County causing onlookers with massive concern to notify the authorities.

Some of the visitors at The Collection mall were shaken up on July 3 when they believed they had seen a kidnapping in the act of taking place.

Many people called 911 to report the incident, saying that they had seen a woman with her hands tied and something covering her head being driven out of the mall parking lot. The worried citizens also stated that the purported victim was screaming and saying that the driver was going to murder her.

A woman in Orange County allegedly went to a new mother’s home and tried to take her baby under the false pretense that she was a social worker.

Late Friday morning in Santa Ana, a woman who recently gave birth was at home with her family.

Around 11:00 am, someone knocked at the door and the new mom answered.
