Three women from Washington state were arrested after they were accused of stealing approximately $30,000 worth of designer handbags from a mall in California.

According to reports, on August 16, a store in The Americana at Brand shopping complex in Glendale was the target of a robbery. The store reported that designer handbags were missing from their inventory. The estimated total value of the missing bags was $30,000.

Officers on E-bikes from the Glendale Downtown Policing Unit were patrolling the area around The Americana at Brand around the time of the alleged theft. While they were still near the shopping center, they saw a vehicle being driven without license plates. The car was also blocking traffic, and the officers pulled over the driver.

A Florida teenager is facing many charges after the police accused him of speeding, and allegedly found drugs, guns, and cash that they believe was earned through drug sales during a search of the vehicle.

According to reports, just after midnight on August 19, a vehicle in Lady Lake allegedly being driven 20 miles over the posted speed limit was spotted by a police officer from the Lady Lake Police Department.

The driver went into an Applebee’s parking lot before the officer tried to perform a traffic stop, and he allegedly sped through the lot and failed to stop until he struck a curb.

A Florida man was arrested and charged after he allegedly tried and failed to rob a bank and a fast-food restaurant.

On August 5, an employee at a Wendy’s restaurant in Melbourne was at the customer service counter when she was approached by a man. Instead of placing an order, he allegedly told her to give him the money from the cash register. The employee believed he had a firearm, and she froze in fear. When one of her coworkers came to see what was happening, the man quickly left the restaurant.

Later that day in the City of Palm Bay, a bank was visited by a man wearing a face mask and a hat. He allegedly went to the counter and attempted to rob money from the financial institution. Again, he fled before he was able to obtain any money.

A man from Georgia allegedly broke into a Florida church and took a dip in the pool meant for baptism ceremonies before reportedly stealing items from the house of worship.

On August 4, an employee at the Emerald Beach Church of God in Panama City Beach was working when they heard the loud crash of a breaking window, and she quickly ran outside.

The authorities were notified, and deputies accompanied by a K9 officer from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office went to the church to investigate.

A man who was a pastor that runs a sober living house was accused of also running a shoplifting ring in Florida that allegedly stole more than $1 M worth of goods.

According to reports, the Rock Church and Recovery Program in St. Petersburg was founded by a now-former pastor who also ran a sober living facility. While he was in charge, the man allegedly threatened to harm some of the tenants so they would agree to steal items that he reportedly planned to resell online.

The pastor reportedly set up an eBay store named “Anointed Liquidator” for the transactions. He allegedly had his mother and wife handle some of the sales, while two of the tenants from the sober living residence went to Home Depot stores in Citrus, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sarasota Counties. They allegedly stole approximately $1.4 M worth of name-brand items by visiting the locations many times each day.

A woman in New Jersey is facing charges for allegedly using a family member’s name to write prescriptions for patients while reportedly practicing medicine without a license.

Between March 2022 and June 2023, a 62-year-old woman from Toms River, New Jersey, was reportedly working as a physician out of an office at Shore Medical Associates in Ocean County.

According to reports, the woman was not legally licensed to practice medicine, but she allegedly did so during her time at Shores Medical. She was reportedly using the name and valid medical license number of one of her relatives so she could treat patients and write prescriptions during her time at the facility.

A man and woman in California are facing charges after allegedly stealing items from a cosmetics store in Camarillo last weekend.

Just before 3:00 PM on July 22, a man and woman from Bakersfield reportedly visited a cosmetics store in Camarillo. When they left the establishment, it was believed that they had stolen products from the store.

The authorities were notified, and officers from the Camarillo Police Department went to the location to investigate. When they arrived, they reported that they were able to obtain quite a bit of information about the suspects from a bystander.

A Berwick nurse working at an assisted living facility is facing several charges for accusations of stealing pain medication from patients instead of giving them their doses.

The Celebration Villa of Berwick, described on their website as “a friendly single-story enhanced personal care community in Berwick, PA, just a short drive from Wilkes-Barre,” employs nurses on their staff. Some of the nurses are tasked with giving medications to patients.

It was reported that a 34-year-old nurse at the facility requested to be scheduled to work the overnight shift. If she worked that shift, she would be required to distribute the medications.

When a man accused of taking a 17-day vacation on another person’s dime by allegedly paying with a stolen credit card was being processed into jail, the authorities reportedly located a live round underneath his testicles.

A man who is a resident of the Bahamas that is recorded as currently living without permanent housing is staying in Miami, Florida. He recently reportedly took a vacation to Indian Rocks Beach for 17 days and paid to stay in a rental residence while on his trip.

It came to light that the man might have used a stolen credit card to pay for his excursion, and the authorities were made aware of the suspicions.

A Florida man is expected to face charges for attempted murder after he reportedly found out his wife was in bed with one of her coworkers in his Airbnb, and allegedly showed up with a metal bat and brutally assaulted the man.

On June 17, a woman and her coworker who was in town on business decided to grab a few drinks together after the workday ended. The man is a travel CT Technician who lives in Arizona. When they were finished with their drinks, he asked the woman to come back to his vacation rental in Lake Worth Beach to hang out.

Around 11:00 PM, the pair was reportedly laying on the bed, and they heard someone open the front door and let themselves in the apartment.
