A customer at a 7-Eleven convenience store was arrested for battery when she allegedly threw her Cuban sandwich in the face of the clerk due to a dispute over the warmth of the food.

On Friday, February 9, 19-year-old Corinthian Jones went into a Bradenton, Florida 7-11 and ordered a pressed Cuban sandwich from one of the clerks. Jones received her purchase and left the store.

Approximately 30 minutes later Jones reportedly returned to the store with the sandwich, which had a few bites missing from it. Jones complained to the clerk that the sandwich was cold, and she either wanted it reheated or would like her money back. The two began to argue until Jones left the store to get one of her friends that was waiting outside for her.

On Thursday a woman was taken into custody and charged for an incident that occurred on February 8 in Irvine, when a woman walking toward a store had her purse snatched.

Approximately one week ago in the evening a woman parked her car in the lot of Bath and Body Works and walked through the parking lot toward the entrance of the store. Before she was able to make it to the door someone advanced upon her from behind and tried to grab the purse off of her shoulder.

The victim fought to keep her belongings and wrestled with the perpetrator until she fell to the ground. She reported that the woman stealing her purse then began kicking her in the forehead and upper body before taking the bag and driving away in a black sedan.

A 75-year-old woman who authorities have nicknamed “Kingpin Granny” is facing six felony charges for allegedly selling prescription pills out of her home in Tennessee.

Betty Jean Jordan, a grandmother and homeowner from Parsons, Tennessee, has become one of the people who has raised the interest of police who are conducting an investigation into the illegal drug sales activity in the area.

Undercover agents confirmed their suspicions by arranging a meeting with Jordan with the intent to buy illegal prescription drugs from her, and they allege that she sold them the medication.

A man who is a pastor at a Los Angeles church has been accused of the molestation of two young Chinese girls who are foreign exchange students that were staying in a hotel room.

Two girls, ages 10 and 12, were sharing a room at the Vanllee Hotel and Suites in Covina on Wednesday night when they were the alleged victims of a sexual predator. The young women are a part of a foreign exchange student program and they were taking part in a field trip. Though they had their own room there was a chaperone in the establishment to keep watch over the students.

Hotel surveillance video displayed a silver truck parked outside the room where the girls were staying, and a man was seen staring into their hotel room and masturbating while looking at them through the window. The man then allegedly entered the lobby of the hotel and knocked on their door. The victims opened the door believing that it was their chaperone, but they were met by the stranger who then forced his way into the room.

A Dana Point resident who allegedly made millions of dollars in purchases through fraudulent means at several businesses in San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange counties is facing 89 charges for the schemes.

Over a nine-month period last year, businesses in three Southern California counties were the victims of a forced-sale scheme consisting of the perpetrator purchasing expensive merchandise with credit cards; some of which were fake and others were inactive. The standard authorization process that the credit card machines typically issue was surpassed by the customer requesting that the sales associate enter the transaction by hand or telling them to force the sale through.

When the transactions were processed by the credit card companies the merchants received notification that the payment was not approved.

A Moundville, Alabama man has been charged with domestic violence for accusations that he became physically aggressive with his roommate.

On Friday, 52-year-old Duane Barry Smith allegedly became upset when he ate a bowl of Cap’n Crunch cereal and learned that it was stale. He assumed that his roommate did not close the package properly after he had used it himself, and he called the man out on his supposed action.

Smith told the man that since he is lacking a full set of teeth it is painful to eat the cereal when it is not fresh. He reportedly then became angry and tried to force his roommate to remove his false teeth and chew some of the hardened product so that he could feel the discomfort for himself.

A Missouri man who worked as a volunteer at a gymnastics center has been accused of touching three of his former young female students in a sexual manner.

David Schneider, a father and former volunteer sports coach for children, held the position of a gymnastics coach at the Kids in Motion gym between 2011 and 2014. Three of the girls he instructed while working there have reported incidents where Schneider allegedly touched them in an inappropriate way while they were stretching and doing the splits. The girls were age 7 or 8 at the time of the alleged assaults.

On January 9, one of the victims contacted authorities and told them that during a move that Schneider called “oversplits” his hand slipped under her shorts and between her legs while he was assisting her. She said she decided to come forward after she currently began feeling that the way she was touched did not seem as if it was proper.

Last weekend in Pomona a 71-year-old man reported that he was approached by a young man brandishing a gun, and pistol-whipped in an alleged assault.

Around 8:30 pm on Saturday, February 3, a Pomona resident was reportedly the victim of an unprovoked assault when an 18-year-old man that he did not know came up to him and began acting aggressively. The man was allegedly carrying a handgun and used it to assault the victim.

The authorities were notified and as soon as they were in sight, the suspected perpetrator, Pomona local Pablo Jimenez, fled the scene and attempted to hide inside of the bathroom at a local grocery store. When officers scouted the surrounding area they quickly located someone matching the description given to them by the victim, and they found Jimenez in the bathroom.

A patron of a Myrtle Beach gentleman’s club who authorities suspect was intoxicated was taken into custody on Monday for allegedly destroying a toilet in the establishment’s restroom, which caused structural and water damage.

On February 5, 20-year-old Pedro Alberto Bernar-Santiago was reportedly a customer at the Treasure Club, a strip club in South Carolina. At some point during his visit to the business, the man entered the restroom and kicked off the top of the toilet tank, breaking the structure that holds the plumbing and causing it to flood, according to a witness report.

The water overflowed out of the bathroom and gushed into the lobby of the speakeasy damaging the carpeting. Management estimated that the repairs to fix everything from the damages would cost a total of $4000.

Two Maryland woman in a domestic partnership who share a home have been accused of several child abuse related charges when three children in their care were allegedly fed dog excrement and found with several types of injuries.

29-year-old Amanda Wright and her girlfriend 25-year-old Besline Joseph share a home with three children, ages 8, 9 and 10. The relationship between the women and the children has not been made public.

In a period that investigators purport began late in the spring of 2017 Wright and Joseph are believed to have kept the children locked in closets as well as in the basement of the home. Injuries on the victims led investigators to the notion that the women had been using several items, including sticks and belts, to beat the youngsters. A stun gun was also discovered in the home and assumed as one of the items used in the alleged abuse.
